#6 PHU – 6’5 James Rust James Rust 6'5" | CG Timpview | 2023 State UT || Timpview High School ||
James Rust James Rust 6'5" | CG Timpview | 2023 State UT gets us started in the next five and he is a good one. James is one of those hybrid type players that are sought after at the next level. With size and strength James can duck in the post and go to work or simple turn and face and use his skills and speed. In the perimeter James moves well laterally to get to his spots and when he keeps it simple and dips his shoulders on straight-line drives he puts himself in great scoring positions. James is shooting the ball well and with his ability to rebound and push the tempo he makes for a great prospect at the next level. James is a big body guard that can go on both ends.
#7 PHU – 6’6 Justus Jackson-Fobbs Justus Jackson-Fobbs 6'6" | SF Cyprus | 2023 State UT || Cyprus High School ||
Justus has really shown that versatility that he is capable of this past summer. Justus is a wing/three at the next level that has a lot of upside. He has gotten better with his handle and his shooting. He is already smooth on the blocks when he post and on cuts. Good motor attacking the rim and getting easy lays on put-backs. Impressed with his rebound and push skill. He either attacks the rim or attracts multiple defenders that allows those running with him space. Could have a big year for Cyprus.
#8 PHU – 6’6 Brock Felder Brock Felder 6'8" | SF Parowan | 2023 State UT || Crimson Cliffs High School ||
Brock is a throwback type player with his “Junkyard Dog” style of play. He excels in the short corner on drop offs and even those tough jumpers, but he is especially tough in the open floor as he can play above the rim. Brock sets good picks and rebounds well. He has caught the eye of the Division 1 schools down south. While his game is still raw Brock is poised to attract more suitors.
#9 PHU – 6’4 Ashton Wallace Ashton Wallace 6'4" | CG American Fork | 2023 State UT || American Fork High School ||
Ashton has quietly been climbing the rankings due to the way he stretches the floor with his shooting. He has good size and he moves well without the ball. His footwork is impressive as he knows how to get his feet under him on the move and he is always ready to catch and shoot.
#10 PHU – 6’3 Max Toombs Max Toombs 6'3" | CG Corner Canyon | 2023 State UT || Corner Canyon High School ||
Max has take over ability that is sometimes overlooked. He is strong with the ball and he can really power his way to the rim. He has quick moves as he doesn’t play with the ball a lot he keeps it simple. Good mid-range and outside jumper. Max is a stat stuffing off-guard that can also handle.
