Elijah Brown, 6’4 SG St. Augustine 2024
Brown had a breakout weekend at the camp as he showed his all-around ability to impact the game. The 6’4 wing attacked the basket hard consistently and finished multiple dunks with authority. Brown handled the ball nicely on the perimeter and shot the ball confidently from distance. He hustled back on defense as he prevented two highlight reel dunks in the All-Star game. Brown is an athletic two-way wing prospect who is in store for a breakout sophomore season.
Dylan Harper, 6’5 SG Don Bosco Prep 2024
Harper had a huge weekend as he was able to display his offensive game fully. The 6’5 lefty was confident with the ball in his hands and was looking to attack his defender on every opportunity. Harper was able to create separation off the bounce, but was also able to get into the lane and finish. He muscled a layup through contact late in the Cream of the Crop All-Star Game, showing his ability to make plays with the game on the line. Harper is a scoring wing prospect who should be a prospect to watch in the 2024 class this season.
Jalil Bethea, 6’4 SG Archbishop Wood 2024
Bethea had a strong showing at Pango’s this weekend as he established himself as one of the top shooters at the camp. The 6’4 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and buried almost every open look he had. Bethea did not force many shots in the half court and showed the ability to shoot off the dribble. He also attacked the basket nicely and finished with a couple of nice dunks around the basket. Bethea’s shooting ability is something that will help him in a big way as his varsity career progresses.
Matthew Gilhool, 6’10 Elizabethtown PF 2024
Gilhool was one of the more impressive bigs over the weekend as he was able to establish himself nicely in the post early in the game. The 6’10 lefty has a nice touch around the basket and was able to draw contact around the basket routinely. Gilhool has a nice touch on his free throws and attempted several triples over the course of the weekend. He was tough to keep off the glass at both ends of the floor and used his length to alter shots at the rim. Gilhool is a post prospect to keep an eye on as he gets stronger and more dominant in the paint.
Jeremiah White, 6’6 SF/PF Imhotep Charter 2024
White was seemingly all over the place during the weekend as he was making plays everywhere. The 6’6 forward was a menace on the offensive glass as he routinely was able to get second chances, which turned into big-time dunks for him. White did more than just dunk on the offensive end as he set good screens and was able to finish nicely around the rim. He hustled back on defense, which resulted in huge blocks around the basket. White was one of the MVP’s of the Top 60 game and his huge motor is something that will help his game in a big way this season.
