Brian Whitney Brian Whitney 6'3" | SG Passiac Valley | 2022 State NJ , 6’3 SG Passaic Valley 2022
Whitney had a big-time showing as he was able to prove that he was more than just a shooter. The 6’3 lefty attacked the basket hard and he threw down a couple of dunks. Whitney handled the ball well on the perimeter and was able to dump it off to the open man once he got into the lane. He moved well off the ball and was not afraid to shoot when he got open looks. Whitney’s stock will go up if he can show that he is more than just a spot-up shooter on the wing.
Kamal Lee Kamal Lee 6'0" | PG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2023 State NJ , 6’0 PG St. Thomas Aquinas 2023
Lee stood out with his decision to swear pants during the showcase, but his play on the floor was high throughout the night. The 6’0 guard played with poise when the ball was in his hands and did not force the issue in the half court. Lee has a good handle, which he used to make plays when he got into the lane. He moved his feet well on the defensive end and used his quick hands to get numerous deflections. Lee is a two-way point guard prospect whose ability to run the offense effectively will help his game in a big way.
Mark Woolhouse Mark Woolhouse 6'9" | PF Pennington | 2022 State NJ , 6’9 PF Pennington 2022
Woolhouse made an impact last night as he was able to establish himself down low early. The 6’9 forward knows how to get position in the paint and showed off a nice touch around the basket. Woolhouse ran the floor hard, setting himself up for a couple of easy dunks in transition. He worked hard on the boards and did a good job on the defensive end. Woolhouse is a tough forward prospect who has the potential for a big senior season.
Evan Cabral Evan Cabral 6'2" | CG Don Bosco Prep | 2023 State NJ , 6’1 CG Don Bosco Prep 2023
Cabral was all over the floor last night as he was making plays everywhere. The 6’1 guard was diving on the floor for loose balls, creating extra opportunities for his team. Cabral excelled in transition as he was able to finish layups and made smart decisions with the ball. He was a tough on-ball defender as he forced several turnovers, which led to runouts. Cabral’s ability to defend is something that will help his stock in a big way this weekend.
Frank DeDio Frank DeDio 5'9" | PG Wayne Valley | 2022 State NJ , 5’9 PG Wayne Valley 2022
DeDio was a play-maker throughout the night as he made plays all over the floor. The 5’9 guard was unafraid of putting his body on the line as he took multiple charges on the night. DeDio was able to get into the lane with consistency and showed off a nice touch around the basket. He made good decisions with the ball in his hands and ran the offense smoothly. DeDio is a gamer who does what it takes to help his team win games.
