Anthony Haith (Marmion Academy – 2023)
Haith was the biggest breakout performer of the night for me. Listed at 6’3” he plays taller than that with his length. Thin and wiry wing that was draining feathery pull ups from 15-18 feet all night long. Love how he rose up with balance and shot it with confidence. Mixed in some drives and used his length getting in passing lanes for steals. Lot of projectability and room to grow physically along with game wise here!
Tyler Jasek (Oswego East – 2023)
Jasek was the standout early in the 17U part of the workout as the 6’5” Oswego East small forward made shot after shot. Strong bodied wing that is tough as nails and lights out as a perimeter shot maker especially off the catch.
Charlie Farrell (Naperville North – 2023)
Legit size at 6’9” out of this Naperville North five man. He was excellent as a fluid rim runner getting up and down the floor with ease. Capable of putting it on the deck on occasion and is a solid passing five.
Donovan Collins (Bolingbrook – 2023)
Collins burst on our radar over the summer and continued with a strong workout. He was most effective hitting shots from the perimeter. The 5’10” point guard consistently knocked in threes and an array of step back twos. Brings good athleticism and quickness to the table.
Jimmy Rasmussen Jimmy Rasmussen 6'1" | SG Geneva | 2023 IL (Geneva – 2023)
Competitive leader that is tough. He has a good feel for the game as a passer and moved his feet well defensively.
Aaron Brown Aaron Brown 6'4" | PF Joliet West | 2023 State IL (Joliet West – 2023)
Brown is an undersized four at 6’4” who has a physical body. Plays with a good motor especially on the offensive glass and was effective as a roll man.
Lawson Walker (Home School – 2023)
Walker is the younger brother of former PHI favorite Davis Walker Davis Walker 6'2" | PG Home School | 2020 State IL . Like his brother he is a thickly built guard with size at 6’3”. Excelled in transition and playing with a high motor.
Joey Patti (Oswego East – 2023)
Patti is a smaller point guard at 5’8” that is crafty with the rock in his hands. Used his nifty handles to get in the lane for finishes.
Darius Morgan (Neuqua Valley – 2023)
Morgan was the top performer from their national team. Small point guard at 5’9” that was effective creating off the bounce for acrobatic layups, transition scores, and pull up threes.
Derek Schlenbecker (Wheaton Academy – 2023)
Point guard from Wheaton Academy listed at 5’9” who pushes it in the open floor and excelled as a passer making those around him better.
Jack Ambrose (Batavia – 2023)
Ambrose is a wing with nice size at 6’5” who has length and is at his best when he knocks down spot up jump shots from beyond the arc.
Armani Hunter Armani Hunter 5'10" | PG Oswego | 2023 IL (Oswego – 2023)
Hunter is a 5’10” lefty lead guard that plays with quickness and reads the defense as a floor general. Impacts the game on the defensive end with his intensity.
Bryce Welch Bryce Welch 6'2" | PG Naperville North | 2024 State IL (Naperville North – 2024)
Welch is a slick handling point guard who made an impression at both Pangos and the M14 workout. Slick handling 5’10” point guard with such a smoothness to his game. Got where he wanted on the floor with burst off the bounce.
Treshawn Blissett Treshawn Blissett 6'5" | SF Waubonsie Valley | 2024 State IL (Waubonsie Valley – 2024)
Bllissett presents a great frame and size on the wing at 6’4”. He excels in transition covering a lot of ground with his long strides. Rangy frame allows him to impact the game on the defensive end. Still refining his game, but might have the highest upside of any of the M14 16U prospects.
CJ Valentine (Batavia – 2024)
Valentine stands at 6’5” with a strong base. He had a nice straight line take and was active throughout the scrimmage.
Michael Washington (Plainfield North – 2024)
Washington is a thick bodied 6’6” power forward who just got stuff done. He hit the offensive glass hard, finished passes on the interior, and played with a super high intensity to his game.
Cameron Thomas (Mt. Carmel – 2025)
Thomas was the top prospect among their 15U guys. The Chicago Catholic League product is a 6’2” strong bodied combo guard that was at his best getting downhill where he bullied his way to the hoop for scores. Sound defender and has a decent looking shot.
Niko Quaranta (Wheaton St. Francis – 2025)
Point guard from Wheaton St. Francis stands at 5’9” and plays with a high basketball IQ. He sees the floor making others better and has some shifty moves off the dribble.
Jax Abalos Jax Abalos 6'7" | SF Batavia | 2025 State IL (Batavia – 2025)
Left handed shooting guard at 6’3” who showcased a clean looking jumper off the catch and solid mobility.
Reggie McWaine (Oswego East – 2025)
McWaine plays with some swagger! The 5’10” lead guard gets going with speed and loves to get out and run in transition.
