This was a great opportunity to see a bunch of guys as they head into their first season of high school basketball. Here, we take a look and evaluate the players that made up Team 9.
#15 Jhonathan Whitthorne Jhonathan Whitthorne 5'10" | SG Mooresville | 2025 IN (Mooresville H.S. 2025)- This 5’8″ prospect is a pure point guard that looks to pass first and set the table for his teammates. Whitthorne did a good job of setting his teammates up as he penetrated and played without turning the ball over. Should develop into more of a scoring threat as well as he grows a little bit.
#28 Jordan Skiles Jordan Skiles 5'9" | PG Rossville | 2025 IN (Rossville H.S. 2025)- Skiles is a super active 5’9″ guard that more than held his own on Saturday at the Freshman Showcase. He shot the ball very well from beyond the arc knocking down four three-pointers over the course of three games and showed he isn’t afraid to crash the glass averaging three rebounds a game as well. Also showed good passing instincts. Has a chance to score a lot of points at Rossville as he develops.
#41 Buruk Haile Buruk Haile 5'10" | SG Avon | 2025 IN (Avon H.S. 2025)- Good looking scoring guard that got to the basket consistently throughout the day. Haile got most of his work done off of the dribble, but did show the ability to not down shots from the perimeter as well. 5’10″ guard that can play on or off the ball. Sat down and stayed in front of his man defensively.
#57 Kelin Mark Kelin Mark 6'2" | SG Park Tudor | 2025 State IN Kelin Mark Jr. (Ben Davis H.S. 2025)- Talented 5’11″ guard that can do a little bit of everything on the offensive end of the floor. Mark Jr. averaged six points per game on Saturday with a mixture of creative finishes off the dribble and shots from beyond the arc. The left-handed guard is a very good athlete with a smooth shooting stroke. Length shows that there is plenty of room to continue growing into his body. Good looking prospect for Ben Davis.
#58 Joey Wright Joey Wright 5'11" | PG Frankton | 2025 IN (Frankton H.S. 2025)- Wright is a skilled 5’11″ guard that stuffed the stat sheet on Saturday. He handled the ball well showing the ability to push it up the floor hard in transition leading the break. Hit a nice pull-up three in transition as well. Made plays for others, rebounded, and created his own shot off of the dribble. Just an all-around aggressive offensive player that can get things done. Look for him to be a player for Frankton over the next four years.
#78 Brant Neidigh Brant Neidigh 6'0" | PG Washington | 2025 IN (Washington H.S. 2025)- Neidigh is more of a driver than a shooter showing off nice intermediate finishing ability. He scored it with a good looking floater in the lane on a couple of drives to the basket. A 6’0″ guard, Neidigh looks to attack closeouts and create his own shot off of the dribble. Good, strong frame.
#99 Brody Raeke Brody Raeke 6'1" | SF McCutcheon | 2025 IN (McCutcheon H.S. 2025)- Scored 14 points in the last game of the day really showing off his ability as a right hand driver and finisher around the basket. A 6’1″ guard, Raeke was not afraid to mix it up around the basket displaying not only his strong finishing ability but pulling down several rebounds. Very active player on both ends of the floor.
#111 Turner Schaming Turner Schaming 6'4" | SG Park Tudor | 2025 IN (Park Tudor 2025)- 6’2″ guard that showed the ability to go coast-to-coast with the ball a couple of times on Saturday. Schaming finished well around the basket and rebounded very well from the guard spot. Long, athletic build that will continue to get better as his overall skill set develops.
#141 Kolt Nelson Kolt Nelson 6'6" | PF Franklin | 2025 State IN (Franklin Community H.S. 2025)- Impressive forward with a 6’4″ frame. Super long arms and mobile on the floor. Nelson showed his ability to be a rim-runner in transition and blocked shots on the defensive end. Rebounded very well throughout the day. Should continue to develop his interior game as he gets stronger.
#158 Trent Sisley Trent Sisley 6'8" | PF Heritage Hills | 2025 State #47 Nation IN (Heritage Hills H.S. 2025)- Sisley is one of the best Class of 2025 prospects in the country. In over a decade of evaluating high school basketball prospects he is one of the most skilled players I’ve seen at his size and age. A 6’7″ forward, Sisley has elite footwork, handles the ball well, and has excellent touch around the basket. He also finishes most of his drives above the rim with a dunk. The freshman phenom was tied for third in scoring at the event with an average of 15 points per game. The lone prospect in Indiana’s 2025 class with a scholarship offer already (Purdue).
