Reis Butcher Reis Butcher 6'4" | SF Brebeuf Jesuit | 2024 State IN (2024, Brebeuf Jesuit)
Butcher was an absolute menace on the offensive end. He showed incredible balance on his shot, maintaining complete control even when he may have looked off balance. Butcher buried multiple 3’s and had a baseline fake and take with a dunk finish that was very impressive. It wasn’t just his scoring, as evidenced by a firm bounce pass to a cutter that absolutely sliced through the D.
Kaniel Cole (2023, Concord)
Cole was dangerous as a primary ball handler. He had an aggressive dribble and always looked to attack off the bounce. Cole put the ball on the floor and got to the rim to finish. He could also use his handles to create space for a jumper. He was a solid passer as well, showing the ability to drive and dish as well as hit cutters going to the rim.
Austin Cripe Austin Cripe 6'3" | SG West Noble | 2023 State IN (2023, West Noble)
Cripe was certainly impressive at the Hankamp Hoops Open Run. He was pure and dangerous from behind the arc, but was also a consistent 3 level scorer. Cripe was really good in transition, showing the ability to finish on both sides of the rim. Back to his jumper. He was comfortable shooting from anywhere on the floor, from the corners to the top of the key.
Tyler Degroote Tyler Degroote 6'7" | SG Schoolcraft | 2022 State MI (2022, Schoolcraft)
DeGroote is even stronger physically in person. Film doesn’t do him justice. His screens are hard and physical and very tough for defenders to get around. DeGroote also uses his strength to fight off and manipulate defenders on the offensive end. It really helps him create space to work off the dribble or to pop off a solid looking jumper with 3 point range.
Kaden Johnson Kaden Johnson 6'9" | SF Hartford | 2022 State MI (2022, Hartford)
Johnson’s physical skills are incredibly obvious. At 6-8 he’s a menace on defense, influencing almost every shot. Johnson is a tough above the rim finisher that can also step out and shoot. Even more impressive is that he is a bona fide leader. He was constantly talking and communicating with his team on both ends of the floor. College coaches need to see Johnson ASAP.
