Deuce Jones Deuce Jones 6'1" | PG College Achieve | 2024 State #221 Nation NJ , 6’3 PG Trenton Catholic
Jones put on a show this weekend as he displayed his ability to run the Iron Mikes’ offense. The 6’3 guard has a tight handle, which he used to break his defender down off the bounce and finish around the basket. Jones did more than just drive as he made a couple of triples from way out and shot the ball with confidence. He was aggressive on the defensive end, forcing multiple turnovers. Jones is a skilled lead guard prospect who should be in store for a big sophomore campaign.
Tahaad Pettiford Tahaad Pettiford 6'1" | PG Hudson Catholic | 2024 State #27 Nation NJ , 6’0 PG Hudson Catholic
Pettiford was fantastic on Sunday as he stole the show with his play. The 6’0 lefty was dynamic off the bounce as opponents could not keep him out of the lane. Pettiford finished around the rim in a variety of ways and was able to make tough layups through traffic. He rained in triples in from distance against Imhotep Charter and was unafraid to let it fly. Pettiford’s ability to put up points in bunches is something that will help him in a big way this season for Hudson Catholic.
Richard Brisco Richard Brisco 6'8" | C Hillcrest Prep | 2024 State AZ , 6’8 PF Roselle Catholic
Brisco had a big-time showing at the Front Office Fall Invitational as he showed his ability to be a reliable post presence. The 6’8 forward had an emphatic, two-handed poster dunk on Sunday and he attacked the basket strong all weekend. Brisco showed off a nice touch around the basket and was able to get position down low. He was tough to box out on both ends of the floor and swatted shots on the defensive end. If Brisco is able to maintain his level of play from this weekend, then Roselle Catholic will be extremely tough to beat this season.
Quinfang Pang Quinfang Pang 6'8" | PF Christ the king | 2024 State #290 Nation NY , 6’9 PF St. Benedict’s Prep
Pang had a good showing over the weekend as he was able to show off his all-around skillset. The 6’9 forward ran the floor well and was able to finish nicely around the basket. Pang brought the ball up the court at times, even pulling off an accidental Shammgod. He worked hard on the glass and has a good release on his jumper. Pang is set for a big 2021-22 season as he can impact the game in different ways.
Peyton Seals Peyton Seals 6'4" | SG Ramapo | 2024 State NJ , 6’3 SG Ramapo
Seals was the go-to guy for Ramapo this weekend and put his offensive game on display. The 6’3 guard has a smooth shooting stroke and does not need a lot of space to get his shot off. Seals did more than just shoot as he also got into the lane and finished around the basket. He drew contact with consistency and and ran the offense at times for the Raiders. Ramapo’s 2024 trio of Seals, Wyatt Engleton-Manner and Chris Severino make the Raiders a team to watch in Bergen County for the next couple of years.
