Here is a look at some of the new names to follow after the camp.
Lajuan Johnson 6’7 Lift for Life: The much improved 2024 forward was the big revelation at the camp. He has good athleticism and he runs the court with ease. What he really did well was shoot the basketball from 3-point range. He’s still developing but his upside is huge.
Ryan Atkins 6’2 Cardinal Ritter: A 2024 wing who was a fine all purpose player. He moves without the ball, cuts hard and was always running in transition. He also attacked the offensive boards well.
My’kel Rachel 6’3 Chaminade: A 2024 forward who was one of the most impressive rebounders at the camp. He’s a good athlete with good timing and a strong desire for boards.
Derrick Rivers 6’0 Cardinal Ritter: A 2024 guard who had a lot of success slashing to the basket. He was very good at playing through contact to score.
