There was an impressive group of smaller guards who were on hand at last weekend’s Elite 50 Camp, which was put on by the Victor Williams Basketball Academy and 810 Varsity. Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of those 5’9” and under “Mighty Mites" who stood out the event.

Josiah Kirkwood Josiah Kirkwood 5'7" | PG Grandview | 2024 State MO 5’7" Grandview:  A 2024 point guard was has a high basketball IQ to go along with his speed and quickness. He can hit 3-pointers and break down defenders without getting out of control.

Titus Holmes 5’9" Winnetonka: A 2022 point guard with a pass-first approach to the game. His fundamentals were good as he did a nice job making the simple pass and keeping the offense flowing.

Ramello Smith 5’7" Raytown: A 2024 point guard who did a nice job distributing the basketball. He delivered some nice passes. He used his quickness well on his dribble penetration in the lane.

James Braddy 5’9" North Kansas City: A 2023 point guard who plays at only one speed, which is Full Tilt Boogie. He was flying all over the court, whether it was with his dribble penetration on offense or his persistent on-ball defense.
