As we continue to dump preseason coverage of various leagues here on Prep Hoops Maryland, it’s now time to break down some of the 2024 prospects who are on watch this upcoming season in the BCL. It was unfortunate to see our former No. 1 prospect, Derik Queen, make the move to Montverde Academy, but our new top dog will be featured on this list and is more than equipped to carry on the torch as the top-rated prospect in our state.

Bryson Tucker Bryson Tucker 6'6" | CG Mount St. Joseph | 2024 State MD | Mount St. Joseph

Tucker takes over as the top prospect in the state for the 2024 class and to be honest, he’ll prove himself as one of the best prospects regardless of class this season. He’s enjoyed a meteoric rise nationally thanks to his efforts in bringing home a gold medal with Team USA, has grown three inches to stand 6-foot-6 and expanded his overall game extensively. Tucker plays with a maturity years beyond his age and will control the ball much more than he did as a freshman for the Gaels. He can score from all three levels, makes advanced reads as a passer and is a polished, fundamental player.
