After setting a strong screen Stewart would drop step out of his roll and throw one down above the rim quick and easy with brute strength and force. K.J. Lewis K.J. Lewis 6'4" | SG Duncanville | 2023 State #30 Nation TX | Shooting Guard | El Paso Chapin HS | C/o ’23
El Paso basketball legend, K.J. Lewis K.J. Lewis 6'4" | SG Duncanville | 2023 State #30 Nation TX put on an outstanding showing and had my attention glued to his play anytime he took the floor. The 6-foot-4-inch shooting guard proved to be a straight-up junkyard dog on the court, absolutely fearless and a true man amongst boys, Lewis completely abused bigger, smaller, and weaker opponents with his body strength, power, and size. Each time he stepped onto the court he showed what makes him such a mismatch and so highly regarded, his athleticism, feel for the game, and will to win set him apart from anyone else and will also propel him to greatness at the next level. Nothing was ever forced with this kid, he let the game come to him, and if he didn’t have the shot he utilized his quick thinking to read defenses and find open teammates to feed, displaying tremendous unselfishness, good patience, and a high basketball IQ. Anytime a bucket was needed Lewis showcased an excellent slashing skill set that allowed him to get to the rack at will using a great burst of quickness in his first step before muscling his way through all sorts of traffic, effectively attacking the hole against every team. Once inside, the junior prospect proceeded to punch home a man’s jam on a consistent basis, slamming dunks through the rim as hard as he could. An amazingly fantastic finisher near the basket with seriously scary bounce and hang time like no other. K.J. jumped so high you would think he’s never coming down. He was one of the few players that could dunk in bunches, having a stint where he slam-dunked on 3 straight possessions, all contested or on somebody’s head, one was even a two-handed putback dunk. After watching K.J. Lewis K.J. Lewis 6'4" | SG Duncanville | 2023 State #30 Nation TX , one thing I learned for certain is to get out of the way whenever he’s on the attack, or else you’ll end up on the wrong end of a highlight reel.

R.J. Jones R.J. Jones 6'3" | CG Wasatch Academy | 2023 #66 Nation UT | Combo Guard | John Paul II | C/o ’23
R.J Jones made his presence felt as a pure basketball player with excellent offensive instincts, you won’t find many prospects in R.J.’s graduating class quite as well-rounded, well-polished, or as skillful as he is. Jones has an array of moves to break a defender down, very much a professional ball-handler with crossovers in a league of their own, leaving guys slipping and sliding all over the place. Tremendous footwork off the dribble and off the catch when spotting up from deep. Jones ran down the floor and quickly went into his right to left 1-2 step while staying low and in a good position to catch-and-shoot. When letting one fly, Jones always has a snappy quick release with perfect balance and textbook shooting form. His floaters and runners inside the arc are deadly as well, R.J. puts a perfect touch on his shot and softly kisses it right over the rim whether he’s contested or off balance.
