#1 PHU – 6’2 Dravyn Gibbs-Lawhorn Dravyn Gibbs-Lawhorn 6'2" | PG Montverde Academy | 2023 #42 Nation FL || RSL Academy ||
Although his stock has been high for sometime now, seeing him recover from injury and putting a show out there in Fall Ball play has been great. The kid is for real and he will have schools flocking to come take a peak at his polished play. Dravyn is tough and he can handle the physical play and he can also make them pay with his shifty change of speed and quick release. This allows him to get to the rim as defenders have to press up on him. His left to right and right to left cross is elite and the way he can snake through the lane is something to see. Major D1 kid.
#2 PHU – 6’11 Bron Roberts Bron Roberts 6'11" | SF Pleasant Grove | 2023 State UT || Timpanogos High School ||
Bron could surely be one of those unicorn type players that is 6’11 and can shoot the ball. He has had the green light thus far playing for his high school team but he has been very effective using his length inside and out. The mid-post could be where he makes a killing as he can just turn and shoot on face-ups or he could turn jab and get to the rim. With a lot of raw talent he has a high ceiling. Big time offer from Stanford in his back pocket as well.
#3 PHU – 6’2 Mason Bendinger Mason Bendinger 6'3" | CG Woods Cross | 2023 State UT || Woods Cross High School ||
Mason has been a big stock riser as he has elevated his game going against elite competition but also his ability to shoot the ball from all over the floor. We talk about three level scoring, Mason is a three-level shooting threat. He is quick and he continues to get explosive off the bounce. Has a few D1 offers but will likely get more as he continues to polish his game.
#4 PHU – 6’9 Lyman Simmons Lyman Simmons 6'10" | PF RSL Academy | 2023 State UT || Snow Canyon High School ||
Lyman has been a force since he entered high school. He has a hook that he keeps away from defenders and he has really developed a 15-foot jumper to go along with some solid outside shooting. Lyman can easily hit 1 or 2 three’s a game. Defensively he still has room to grow as he is learning when to wall up and when to time his jumps. Great rebounding big that seeks rebounds. Lyman has a local D1 offer, but could add to his stock this season.
#5 PHU – 6’0 Quentin Meza Quentin Meza 6'0" | PG Cyprus | 2023 State UT || Cyprus High School ||
One of the most impressive stock risers is Quentin Meza Quentin Meza 6'0" | PG Cyprus | 2023 State UT . It would be safe to simply call him a scoring guard. He can run on the ball and off the ball and he has that gun-slinger type of game that is fun to watch. High motor and he is starting to really get crafty with the way he defends. Quentin has also pulled some D1 interest and holds some D1 offers as well. Is likely to be one of the scoring leaders this year. Excited to see what he has added to his bag.
