He provided interior scoring on the offensive end and showed that he can knock down shots from the short corners. The defensive side of the ball was where he made his largest impact, he blocked six shots during the matchup and pulled down a team high of 9 rebounds, which helped his squad limit the opposition to a low amount of extra offensive possessions.
Bucks Senior Guard Jaquantae Harris Jaquantae Harris 6'1" | PG Northwood Temple | 2022 State NC : There is a reason why D1 programs have been watching him closely and he showed why on Saturday morning. Leading the way in scoring with a game high of 19 Points by using athleticism and scoring ability, it doesn’t take long to see why these are both attributes that colleges like about him. UNCP is the latest school to extend a scholarship offer to him and we expect the list to continue to grown throughout his senior season.
Westside Senior Wing Mikey Campbell Mikey Campbell 6'5" | SF Westover | 2022 State NC : D2 level programs have dropped in over the last few weeks as he is one of the top uncommitted prospects in the area. UNCP dropped in to get another look at him on Saturday and he used this opportunity to showcase his scoring and rebounding ability, scoring 11 Points while pulling down 10 rebounds.
Bucks Senior Guard TJ Murray: His numbers of 8 Points & 2 Assist may not be impressive to you but his efficiency and IQ for the game are both areas that you have to appreciate. He’s one of the better three point shooters in the league percentage wise and he’s a player that doesn’t turn the ball over very often. We love the toughness that he plays with and the fact that he’s willing to sacrifice his own stats for the success of his team.
The Life Sophomore Guard Jahiem Faison: It seems that he’s beginning to become more comfortable at his new location after transferring in and being added to the roster a few weeks back. He’s shooting the ball from the perimeter at a nice level but also has been one of the better rebounding guards in the entire league over the last few weeks. Once he improves with his ball handling under pressure and staying aggressive regardless of the situation, he will be a name that college coaches will be keeping a closer eye on.
