Schools at the D3, D2 and JC levels have expressed interest and we feel his skillset and IQ will help his transition to the next level to go smoothly.
Westside/Westover Junior Guard McKiyah Tarver: His scoring numbers may not catch your attention but he found other ways to make an impact on games this season. He locked in on the defensive side of the ball, playing solid defense against some good Guard competition throughout the year. Offensively he has been the floor general for his team, getting them into their sets and making sure that he gets everyone involved.
Rosehill/ Trinity Christian Junior Guard Malachi Travis Malachi Travis 6'2" | CG New Life Christian | 2023 State NC : His scoring ability is one of the main traits that catches your attention. Shooting the ball from beyond college three point range but also being able to blow by defenders, he can score in various ways.
Patriots/ Pinecrest HS Senior Guard Christian Freeman: He took home the Defensive Player Of The Year award by impressing the voters throughout the season with his outstanding on ball defense. He’s a quick guard that understands how to use the combination of his quickness and strength to make a nice impact on games.
Patriots/ Pinecrest Junior Forward Shaun Thomas: We would describe him as a raw player at this point that has nice upside to his game. He doesn’t mind doing the dirty work and makes his impact on games with his rebounding and interior defense.
Bucks/Hoke County HS Senior Guard TJ Murray: His play throughout the season earned him Second Team All-League honors and he was instrumental in his team securing the #2 seed. He knocks down shots from three point land with efficiency as well as being an impressive facilitator.
Bucks/ Hoke County HS Senior Wing Jordan Maynor: Smaller colleges should be keeping a close eye on him during his senior season as he shown that he has the tools to play on the next level. He stands at 6’4/6’5 which is a solid height for a college wing, has shown that he can score from multiple levels, and plays the game with a competitive edge to him.
