2024s we’ll have our eye on this season
As we draw nearer to the start of the high school basketball season, I can’t help but be excited to see some of the amazing talents in the Oklahoma area. Many of these players are coming off a great summer AAU season and are not planning on slowing down anytime soon. My top 3 teams to watch are MacArthur High School with Madden Padilla leading the guard spot, Moore High led by Chiante Tramble and Edmond North led by Dylan Warlick and Bryson Buckingham.
Dalen Fuller (2024) forward Union High School – Dalen Fuller is an exceptional athlete who excels in the open court. The lefty wing can make shots off the catch and is a great finisher around the rim.
Dylan Warlick (2024) forward Edmond North High School – Very skilled stretch four, plays very strong around the rim. Sneaky athletic. Does a great job fighting for position in the post where he has an array of moves and finishes.
Chiante Tramble (2024) guard Moore High School – Chiante is a crafty guard who can fill it up at all levels. He is so fun to watch because of his mature game and it always seems as if he’s letting the game come to him.
Madden Padilla (2024) guard MacArthur High School – Strong guard who is coming off a very good summer, shifty handle and makes his teammates better. A pesky defender who will pick up full court disturbing the opposing team’s guard.
Dayton Forsythe (2024) guard Dale High School – Aggressive scorer, very athletic getting downhill. Strong finisher. Three-level scorer. Lives at the free-throw line because of his elite finishing ability and the way he controls his body at the rim.
Bryson Buckingham (2024) guard Edmond North High School – Lights out high-level shooter, extremely active defender with a high motor. Bryson’s IQ on the court sets him apart from most being able to play well without the ball in his hands while still being able to run point guard.
