While the Girls 2023 comeback win versus 2022 was the best game of the day, there were plenty of great individual performers on the boys side as the class of 2024s beat the 2025s and 2022s took down the 2024s.
2024
Ryan Williams Ryan Williams 6'3" | SG Malvern Prep | 2024 State PA took home the MVP award, leading all scorers with an efficient 24 points to go along with 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals. More so known for his scoring at all 3 levels, Ryan racked up assists by pushing the ball ahead in transition. 2nd on the team in scoring (20 pts) and runner up for MVP was Jalil Bethea Jalil Bethea 6'4" | SG Archbishop Wood | 2024 State #5 Nation PA . The guard from Archbishop Wood showcased his offensive playmaking ability early on (7 asts) and defensive awareness (5 stls) too, as the Sophomores beat the Freshmen 101 to 78. Darren Williams Darren Williams 6'4" | SG Archbishop Ryan | 2024 State PA got going in the second half by pushing the ball in transition and getting to the cup, amassing 11 points & 4 assists. It’s hard for big men to stand out in these settings yet Tristen Guillouette and Thomas Sorber Thomas Sorber 6'9" | C Archbishop Ryan | 2024 State #58 Nation PA each had three blocks. Jayden Robinson Jayden Robinson 6'5" | SF Lower Merion | 2024 State PA had a huge impact on the game defensively too; it just didn’t fill up the box score (6 pts + 8 rebs).
2025
The Freshmen were outmatched but that didn’t stop them from competing. Great Valley’s Cameron Wallace won the Sportsmanship award, as the MVP of the losing squad. He scored 18 points by using his burst and stride length to get to the rim, in addition to grabbing 7 boards. KJ Cochran KJ Cochran 6'3" | CG Perkiomen | 2025 State #111 Nation PA of West Chester East finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds. He battled for second chance points all game long and displayed the ability to create his own shots. Olin Chamberlain Olin Chamberlain 6'0" | PG St Joseph's Prep | 2025 State PA Jr and Jake West Jake West 6'1" | PG William Penn Charter | 2025 State #193 Nation PA showed the makings of great floor generals. Olin Jr had 6 points & 7 assists, while Jake put up 10 points & 3 assists. Milan Dean Milan Dean 6'3" | SF Archbishop Wood | 2025 State #286 Nation PA Jr plus fastbreaks were a recipe for violence at the rim (8 pts). He has some craft to pair with his power finishes.
2022
Both the Seniors and the Juniors eclipsed a hundred points in the finale. Although a couple members of his team outscored him, Luke Boyd Luke Boyd CG Archbishop Ryan | 2022 State PA earned the MVP honors due to the intensity he brought throughout the game. The 18 points he contributed was only a glimpse of the well-rounded scoring he’s bringing to his team this season. Denzel Figueroa Denzel Figueroa 6'5" | SF Engineering & Sciences | 2022 PA brought it on both ends all game long too, scoring 17 points plus a couple blocks. Mo Abdullah Mo Abdullah 6'4" | SF Imhotep Charter | 2022 State PA and Jacob Beccles Jacob Beccles 6'3" | CG Constitution | 2022 State PA scored 31 and 27 points, respectively.
2023
Kyle Jones Jr from Father Judge won the Sportsmanship award in this team’s loss, netting 30 points on 6 made threes. The rest of his points came from tremendous ducks. Xzayvier Brown Xzayvier Brown 6'1" | PG Roman Catholic | 2023 State #233 Nation PA isn’t known for his long-range shooting, but made 6 threes of his own en route to 28 points. Justin Edwards Justin Edwards 6'6" | PF Imhotep Charter | 2023 State #3 Nation PA and Adam “Budd” Clark each scored 13 points.
