Tyrone Countrymon, Bay State Jaguars, Class Junior, Position G
Tyrone played a big role in the Jaguars first tournament. In the first game Tyrone had three three pointers in a row at one point. Tyrone impacted the game all over the floor. He played super hard on defense, and really made big plays down the stretch. He made important shots, and made big stops on defense.Tyrone was named zero gravity player of the game, and I expect him to win alot more this coming AAU season.
Evan NG, Bay State Jaguars, class Sophomore, position G
Evan had a very strong showing in the first tournament of the fall for the Jaguars. Evan showed how he can shot from all areas of the floor. He can score off the dribble, and through contact, and also showed his shooting skills. Evan did a good job getting his teammates involved as well, making key passes to set them up for open shots. Evan played with high energy the whole weekend.
Peter Gellene, B2l, Position PG, Class sophomore
Peter helped his B2L team win some tough, and hard fought games this past weekend. Peter is a point guard who is good with the ball, and can set up the offense. Peter did a nice job this weekend of controlling the pace of the game. Peter does a good job of changing speeds and can stop on a dime. Peter had a good mix of scoring and facilitating. Peter was a leader on the floor, always helping his teammates, and communicating well.
Austin Velzo Warriors, Position F, Class sophomore
Austin was dominate this weekend. Austin shot a very high percentage with a lot of his point coming inside the paint. Austin was a paint protector on defense, and a paint scorer on offense. Austin rebounded the ball well, and also made some good passes from the paint. For a big man Austin moves well, and can run the floor. I think this will be a stock rising season for him.
