Jaden Holt Jaden Holt 5'9" | PG Katy Jordan | 2025 TX | Point Guard | Bellaire Episcopal HS
At the Varsity level, Jaden Holt Jaden Holt 5'9" | PG Katy Jordan | 2025 TX will make his name known as an all-around natural scorer that can make something out of nothing and get a bucket whenever the pressure rises and the defense tightens up. Holt is quite possibly the best one-on-one point guard of his class, his super explosive speed and quickness on the dribble go unmatched, constantly keeping the defense guessing and off-balance. The ball is an extension of his mind, Holt’s handle is incredibly crafty, he has 101 combo moves in his arsenal that he can pull out at any moment, but his right to left crossover gets the job done every time, especially when he combines it with either his hang dribble, hesitation move, or his in-and-out move that always comes with an extreme lightning burst of speed. Jaden Holt Jaden Holt 5'9" | PG Katy Jordan | 2025 TX has also shown impressive body control and footwork when finishing plays at the basket from awkward angles and through traffic. He has an amazing way of stepping or jumping through multiple defenders and completing possessions with an array of up and under layups. In the mid-range, the 5-foot-9-inch guard can quickly get off his deadly pull-up jumper and high arcing floater before the defense ever knows what hit them. Holt’s dynamic scoring presence attracts double teams and helpside defenders on a game-to-game basis and he easily exploits them by setting up his teammates or finding the open man which is usually someone cutting nearby. The bucket-getting abilities and basketball instincts Jaden possesses are going to translate perfectly against Varsity competition from day one. I don’t believe anyone will be surprised if he’s one of the top scorers in Houston right out the gate.
