Trey Perry Trey Perry 6'1" | PG Lakota East | 2025 State OH , 6’0 PG Lakota East 2025: Perry really intrigued me, as an incoming freshman that scored the basketball at a very high level. Perry was pretty tiny compared to some of the older participants, but for his age, he isn’t that small. Perry plays the PG position well, setting up his teammates and deferring to some of his older teammates. I’ll be very interested to see if Perry makes an impact at the varsity level as either a Freshman or a Sophomore.
Jackson Courter Jackson Courter 6'4" | SF Wapakoneta | 2023 OH , 6’5 SF Wapakoneta 2023: Courter was a sharp shooting wing prospect from a small school that stood out against some high level competition. It was impressive to see him play next to some talented teammates. Playing a role is difficult for some small school prospects when they are playing with different types of teammates than they are used to. I think Courter could put up some nice stats as an upperclassmen at Wapakoneta.
Landon Brewer Landon Brewer 6'5" | SG Antwerp | 2024 State OH , 6’3 SF Antwerp 2024: Brewer didn’t fall into the trap of showcase basketball, passing the ball and making the right basketball play. Brewer did score the ball when he decided to shoot at a good percentage. He didn’t dominate the game but for a 2024 prospect, he stood out for his basketball IQ and feel for the game. The duo he could form with Jagger Landers Jagger Landers 6'7" | PF Antwerp | 2022 State OH will be one of the best in Division IV in Ohio.
Owen Osborne Owen Osborne 5'11" | PG Buckeye Valley | 2022 State OH , 5’10 PG Buckeye Valley 2022: Osborne was one of the best pure PG’s at the event, showing off his pass first style for a team 4 squad that had a lot of success throughout the expo. Osborne has been playing next to some talented prospects like Troy Scowden Troy Scowden 6'8" | C Buckeye Valley | 2022 State OH and Dylan Thompson Dylan Thompson 6'2" | SG Buckeye Valley | 2022 State OH , you can tell he’s comfortable playing a complimentary role. I think small colleges will be looking at Osborne to add depth at the guard position.
Joshua Evans Joshua Evans 6'4" | SF New Albany | 2022 State OH , 6’4 SF New Albany 2022: Evans was my favorite 2022 performer that I haven’t seen prior to the event. Evans has some intriguing physical tools and really found some success slashing to the basket. He profiles as a late bloomer who could explode onto the scene as a senior. I would consider a flyer on Evans as a prospect who could continue as an upperclassmen, a red-shirt year could elevate him into a completely different player.
Jaden Brown Jaden Brown 5'10" | CG Springboro | 2024 OH , 5’10 CG Springboro 2024: While I’ve made some trips to Dayton recently, Springboro isn’t a squad I’ve caught in person yet. That could change this season as Springboro has a nice mix of experienced and young prospects next season. Brown made a high percentage of his 3-point shots he attempted on Sunday and looked capable of playing on or off ball. I’ll be interested to see how Brown looks for Springboro as a Sophomore.
