East St Louis: The talented Flyers squad went 3-0 for the weekend. They were led by 6’4 2022 point guard Christian Jones, a Mizzou commit; and 6’5 2023 forward Macaleab Rich. The presence of Rich and 6’7 2023 power forward Dorian Brown gives East Side a strong front line.
Chaminade: The new-look Flyers are strong on the perimeter with solid 6’0 2023 BJ Ward at point guard and three nice wing players in 6’3 2022 twins Nate and Walter Straughter and 6’3 2023 Nilivan Daniels Nilivan Daniels 6'3" | SG Chaminade | 2023 State MO . Up front, 6’10 2025 Ben Winkler is a promising young big.
MICDS: The Rams featured one of the top prospects at the event in versatile 6’8 2022 Brandon Mitchell-Day Brandon Mitchell-Day 6'8" | SF MICDS | 2022 State MO . He is joined by the solid backcourt tandem of 6’2 2023 Marcus Coleman Marcus Coleman 6'3" | PG Micds | 2023 State MO and 5’8 2024 Jayden Banks Jayden Banks 5'10" | PG MICDS | 2024 State MO .
Fort Zumwalt West: The hot-shooting Jaguars won all three games over the weekend. They have an impressive backcourt pair in 5’9″ 2022 Ray Horry Ray Horry 5'7" | PG Christian-O'Fallon | 2022 State MO and 5’8″ 2023 Kyle Harris. Horry is athletic and explosive while Harris is very quick. Dillon Bates is a 2022 wing who shot the lights out from 3-point range while 6’1″ 2023 Ethan Hatfield can also shoot it.
Confluence Academy: The Titans have a good blend of experience and young talent that was on display during the weekend. Trasean White is a 6’1″ 2022 who can penetrate and get into the lane with regularity. White was paired with 5’10″ Normandy transfer Jamod Robinson Jamod Robinson 5'11" | PG Confluence Prep | 2022 State MO during the weekend. He’s quick. Up front, we saw good things from 6’4″ 2024 forward Bryant Moore.
Lift for Life: The Falcons have an impressive set of young guards in 6’0″ 2023 Otis Grissom and 5’9″ 2024 Dennis Olds Dennis Olds 5'9" | PG Lift for Life | 2024 State MO . Grissom plays and old-school game that is under control while Olds plays with speed and a nice change of direction. Terrell Shumpert is a 6’4’ 2022 forward with excellent athleticism and rebounding ability.
