The league features 22 JV and Varsity teams from around the Las Vegas area. With this being the first taste of high school action in over a year, it offered an opportunity to evaluate a ton of local players under one roof. In this article, we take a look at some of the Freshmen standouts from week 1. (All Fall League Games are Live Streamed and Recorded on the 7outz Channel)
Tremayne Anderson Tremayne Anderson 6'6" | SF Rosemary Anderson Prep | 2025 State OR 6’6 SF Bonanza 2025 – Anderson will begin his career as one of the top 10 freshmen in the state The freshmen played like a vet this weekend. A rangy wing ran, Anderson ran the floor well, scoring in transition. He finished with 12 points in his first taste of varsity action.
Jaden Riley Jaden Riley 6'1" | PG Liberty | 2025 State NV 6’1 PG Bonanza 2025 – The more I watch Riley, the more I love him. He showed his sniping ability on Saturday, busting down the zone, burying 5 3’s. He’s got good instincts for a young player, showing the ability to make good decisions with the basketball. He finished with 23.
Jalen Butler Jalen Butler 6'2" | CG Shadow Ridge | 2025 State NV SG Bonanza 2025 – Butler was part of a trio of freshmen that contributed for the Tigers. He took advantage of the 2-3 zone D played by Air Nado, knocking down several catch and shoot 3’s. The freshmen sniper finished with 17 on the day.
Giancarlo Martina Giancarlo Martina 6'0" | PG Silverado | 2025 State NV 5’7 PG Silverado – Fans are going to love Martina, opponents are going to hate him The pesky PG did a good job of harassing defenders with his quick hands and feet. Martina is a pest with good lateral quickness and heart. He caused several miss dribbles and forced his share of turnovers with his tenacious on-ball D.
Mason Abittan Mason Abittan 6'6" | SF Red Rock Academy | 2025 State NV 6’1 SG Coronado (featured image) – Abittan was featured as one of the top overall performers. He was aggressive all game, knocking down 3’s, hitting pull-up jumpers, and drawing fouls on attacks to the basket.
