Thatcher McClure Thatcher McClure 6'7" | PF McKinney | 2022 State TX – 6’7″ – PF – McKinney – Next Page Force
McClure is a stretch defensive forward that energizes his team on both ends of the court. He’s long and athletic, but it’s his IQ, awareness and good hands that give him the edge when blocking shots or locking down ball handlers. He understands the verticality rule to perfection and he positions himself well to help on opponents driving to the basket. He’s a strong finisher at the rim, dunking the ball on any defender’s head that gets in his way, but he has the talent and skillset to roam the 3-point line and run pick-and-pops, as well, knocking down catch-and-shoot attempts with ease and spreading the floor for this teammates. McClure continued to add to his complete game this offseason, putting a special focus on his “ability to handle the ball and [his] overall strength.”
Zane Hicke Zane Hicke 6'6" | PF Flower Mound Marcus | 2022 State TX – 6’6″ – PF – Flower Mound Marcus – 3D Empire
Hicke is a playmaking big that utilizes his timing, quick feet, and length to cause issues for any opposing player trying to get a shot off. He can guard smaller players on the perimeter, staying in front of them with his agile lateral movement, and blocking their shot attempts with ease, and he holds his own against opposing bigs with his athleticism and quick hands. He provides constant movement on the offensive end, finding open lanes to cut to the basket, and keeping the defense on their toes at all times, ready to finish strong at the rim at any given moment. His passing ability is special, as he has point guard-like talent in finding open teammates off the dribble, out of the post, or operating from the perimeter.
KyeRon Lindsay KyeRon Lindsay 6'9" | PF Denton Guyer | 2022 State #112 Nation TX – 6’8″ – PF – Denton Guyer – Nike ProSkills EYBL
Lindsay is an athletic slashing big that can take his man off the dribble from the perimeter, drive to the basket, and finish with a strong and explosive leap, but then a soft touch at the rim. His athleticism and timing down low results in huge, energizing blocks that would make any opponent think twice about going into the paint again. He’s a strong rebounder and understands how to use his large frame to boxout opponents. He displays a refined post game, backing down opponents and scoring on spin-move layups, up-and-unders, and fadeaways, and he’s a more than willing passer out of the post should the defense throw a double team at him. Lindsay’s midrange game is another weapon he can throw at opponents, as he loves to take one dribble off the 3-point line and hit the midrange pullup consistently. He wants to continue to add to that part of his game, as well, putting in extra work this offseason on his “guard work…moving with the ball faster” and increasing his range shooting the ball.
Alex Anamekwe Alex Anamekwe 6'6" | PF McKinney | 2022 State TX – 6’6″ – PF – McKinney – Team Trae Young 3SSB 2022
Anamekwe is an elite defender, explosive rebounder, and an athletic, strong finisher that can also step out and hit the 3-point shot. His aggressive blocks demoralize opponents and his posterizing dunks on the other end of the court add to his overall dominance in a game. He’s strong and uses his athleticism to gather rebounds over any opponent. He’s quick and can handle the ball well enough to run a fast break or operate from the perimeter and finish at the basket with the best of them. His catch-and-shoot ability matches well with his elite finishing skillset, as the defense essentially has to pick their poison when guarding him.
