Team Teague was one of the top 17U teams this past season on the Prep Hoops Circuit.  They have a ton of talented prospects.  We caught up with their head coach Damon Turner to get the latest on the recruitment of their 2022 prospects.

Reggie Bass Reggie Bass 6'5" | SG Arsenal Tech | 2022 State #138 Nation IN (Arsenal Tech)

Highly ranked wing that has range on shot and passing feel.  He decommitted from Illinois recently.  Since reopening his recruitment he has been in touch with Maryland, Georgia, Marquette, Kansas State, and Georgia Tech. Bass has visits lined up to Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Marquette in next few weeks.  One to Kansas State could be in the works for October.

Leland Walker (Hargrave Military Academy)

Walker was among the top point guards we saw in the Midwest on the PHC all spring and summer.  Tough, leader, and winner.  He earned offers from Xavier, DePaul, and Providence.  Other programs that have been in touch over the last week include Appalachian State, Stony Brook, UNC Wilmington, Duquesne, and Butler.

Rasheed Jones Rasheed Jones 6'6" | SF Arsenal Tech | 2022 State IN (Elevation Prep)

Jones is a 6’6” shooting guard with a long and lanky build that can shoot the rock from deep.  His coach tells us that Kent State, Miami OH, Eastern Illinois, Incarnate Word, VMI are in the mix for his services.

Dayveon Turner Dayveon Turner 5'11" | PG Arsenal Tech | 2022 State IN (Arsenal Tech)

Turner was the ultimate glue guy that did all the little things from his guard spot for this squad.  He has interest from VMI, Idaho State, Fairmount University, and IPFW.

Charlie Williams Charlie Williams 6'10" | PF Carmel | 2022 State #224 Nation IN (Carmel)

Williams is a 6’10” skilled five man that brings intriguing qualities on both ends of the floor.  He will be deciding between Florida Atlantic and William & Mary.  Visited FAU last weekend.  William & Mary visit is set for later this month.  Decision will come shortly after.

Caedmon Bontrager Caedmon Bontrager 6'8" | PF Leo | 2022 State IN (Elevation Prep)

This 6’6” power forward was one of my favorite under the radar prospects on the circuit this past season with his strength, skill, production, and motor.  He has interest from D1 programs VMI, IPFW, IUPUI, and Youngstown State.  D2 offers include Charleston, Fairmount State, and Trevecca Nazarene.
