The tough 6-foot-2, 175-pound combo guard is more than worthy of being off the watchlist and for good reason. He was a full-time member of the varsity last season at Summit and after a solid summer playing AAU ball he’s ready for big things as a sophomore.
Moore played with Oregon Prospects 2024 and it was no doubt a good experience for him. “I thought we started off really well and while we didn’t end on a great note, itt was a good overall team,” Moore said. “I thought I improved a lot. I improved on my shooting the most and I worked on my defense, which is my strongest suit I think. I just got better with my overall game, handle, shooting, everything.”
In every tournament, one thing Moore definitely brought to the table was his motor. That was certainly the case recently at The Hoop Circuit College Prospect Camp where he was constantly making plays on both ends of the floor. He described just what it is that gets him going hard all the time. “I’m not crazy tall, especially compared to some players,” Moore said. “I know I can out-hustle anyone though so that drives me and my coaches like that. So just showing that I can dive for loose balls and get offensive rebounds, I can help the team win.”
Going into his sophomore year, Moore notes that it’s way to early when it comes to thinking about college. It’s definitely something he’s interested in doing and as he continues to evolve as a do-it-all guard, those opportunities will be there. For now, he’s honed in on this upcoming season and it’s one where his expectations are high.
“I think that, to be honest with you, that we can go and win a state championship if we all play together,” Moore said. “We have a great group of guys. I think if we put it all together, we can win a state championship.”
