The camp ranking was based on the day, not long-term potential. Right now Judah Sault Judah Sault 6'5" | SF Cleveland | 2023 State TN is PrepHoopsTN #27 in the state, because he projects as a wing at 6’5″ unlike Japheth Richmond Japheth Richmond 6'6" | PF White County | 2023 State TN who projects as a power forward.
Richmond was better on the day though, hence the #7 ranking while Sault earned the #8.
Bouncy wing. Though Judah gets minute at both perimeter and post, Sault’s combination of height and athleticism belongs on the wing where he can be most threatening. Sault projects as a plus rebounding wing or a below-average power forward in college.
Defensively, Sault fits like a glove outside the lane. Unlike most taller wings, Sault slides the boots expertly.
Defensive limitations will never exist. Impressive speed and special lane agility.

Guile. J Rich consistently finished around the bucket, even when attacking taller players. Richmond was an ok leaper, but the magic came from crafty maneuvers.
Richmond projects as an NAIA big. He will likely find himself as a second or third forward on the floor. As Japheth Richmond Japheth Richmond 6'6" | PF White County | 2023 State TN showed during the summer combine he can succeed against bigger bigs.
Japheth landed in the All-Star Game.
Richmond showed large hands, as would be expected by his height. Richmond’s wingspan measured 6-foot-8, which is a +3. Scouts at every level love that kind of length.
Richmond finished the sprint with a strong 3.42 and 3.45. His quickness is sneaky and during those critical post moments, utilized perfectly.
