Ian Hart Ian Hart 6'7" | PF McCracken County | 2023 State KY , McCracken County – Hart made the move to 2023 after SB 128 was implemented and will look to help the Mustangs back to Rupp for 2 more years. Hart claimed an early offer from Bryant University last year but it’s been quiet on the recruiting front lately. A move to 2023 should allow more time for the 6’7 wing forward to continue developing his game and bulking up.
Mason Guffey Mason Guffey 6'5" | SF Taylor County | 2023 State KY , Taylor County – A summer transfer from Grant County, Guffey is likely to be the primary scoring option for the Cardinals this season. At 6’5, Mason has good size on the wing and reports interest from Nevada, who is expected to see him at school soon.
Eli Brooks Eli Brooks 6'7" | PF Barren County | 2023 State KY , Barren County – One of the bigger prospects in 2023 at 6’9, Brooks will hope to breakout for the Trojans this season after a smaller role as a Sophomore. Eli has some stretch to his game, hitting 6 threes last season but will need to continue adding bulk to his frame to show he can be an effective post scorer.
Jack Payne Jack Payne 6'2" | SG Daviess County | 2023 State KY , Daviess County – Primarily a shooter as a Sophomore, the 6’2 guard will look to diversify his offensive game in his Junior season. Jack has attended the Top 250 Expo the last 2 years and has shown he can be a playmaker with the ball in his hands in addition to shooting nearly 40% from three.
Sam Gibson Sam Gibson 7'0" | C Holy Cross | 2023 State KY , Holy Cross (Covington) – Big Sam is an X factor in the 9th region at 6’10. I was told that Gibson has lost a ton of weight this summer and that should go a long way in improving his overall quickness as well as his ability to guard laterally. Sam could go from role player to a big piece for Holy Cross this season.
