Here are a few names…
Malik Abdullahi Malik Abdullahi 6'6" | SF Columbus | 2024 State FL – Columbus
2024 Malik Abdullahi Malik Abdullahi 6'6" | SF Columbus | 2024 State FL earned his first offer from Florida Gulf Coast on September 20th. The 6-foot-7 forward has length to defend and athleticism to run in transition. Abullahi averaged 8.4 points, 9.9 rebounds and 1.7 blocks as a freshman. His offensive game is only getting better with added size and repetition. Abullahi will be a tough matchup given his measurables.
Alexander Lloyd – Westminster Academy
All things point to 2025 Alexander Lloyd being a South Florida star. The 6-foot-4 guard has ball skill and bounce off the dribble. His mid-range and perimeter shot is already solid. Lloyd can create on his own from his left or right. His backcourt development has only just begun. Look for Lloyd to round out his guard skill with the Lions. Lloyd has been offered by Florida Gulf Coast. I expect more programs to give him a ring.
Shon Abaev – Miami Country Day
2025 wing Shon Abaev has a smooth lefty stroke. The 6-foot-4 Abaev is a nice perimeter shooter from anywhere on the floor. His quickness and length off the dribble makes him tough to defend. Abaev will be three-level scorer for the Spartans. He was offered by Florida Gulf Coast back in June.
Justin Johnson Justin Johnson 6'7" | PF Doral | 2023 #229 Nation FL – Doral Academy
2023 Justin Johnson Justin Johnson 6'7" | PF Doral | 2023 #229 Nation FL received an early offer from Georgetown in March. I’m a little surprised only Florida Gulf Coast has followed suit. Johnson is a 6-foot-7 wing/forward that can put the ball on the floor. His junior numbers should be 20 points and eight rebounds. I saw him at the Sun Bash last season and thought he looked fantastic. Not sure the hesitation here.
Jasai Miles Jasai Miles 6'5" | CG Miami Country Day | 2023 State #241 Nation FL – Miami Country Day
2023 Jasai Miles Jasai Miles 6'5" | CG Miami Country Day | 2023 State #241 Nation FL is another star for Miami Country Day. The 6-foot-6 shooting guard/wing has everything a program would want. Miles’ size and athleticism is elite. He can shoot the three or use his frame to attack the rim. Miles has plenty of handle in the open floor to score or dish in transition. He averaged 20 points and eight rebounds as a sophomore. He has been offered by Florida Gulf Coast and Samford.
Stone Bureau Stone Bureau 6'0" | PG Calvary Christian Academy, Ft. Lauderdale | 2024 State FL – Suncoast
2024 Stone Bureau Stone Bureau 6'0" | PG Calvary Christian Academy, Ft. Lauderdale | 2024 State FL does not have any offers to my knowledge. That will change fast as Bureau is a quick point guard that plays lockdown defense. Bureau’s vision and awareness is what I like to see out of a backcourt player. He can also score from anywhere on the floor. In the classroom, Bureau holds a 3.9 GPA. A lot of potential here.
