Team 9
#26 Peyton Gwin Peyton Gwin 6'0" Austin | 2023 IN (Austin H.S. 2023): This 6’0″ guard from Austin showed off his shooting stroke throughout the day on Saturday. He is at his best as a catch-and-shoot threat, but he handles it well enough to make plays for himself in certain situations. Shot-maker from beyond the arc.
#46 Jason Kobe Jason Kobe 6'1" | SG Marquette Catholic | 2023 State IN (Marquette Catholic H.S. 2023): Kobe is an athletic offensive talent that can really get going from three-point range. He has contributed at a high-level on varsity for Marquette Catholic since his freshman season and had a strong showing at the Indiana Top 250. Pure shooter with good ball skill.
#111 Jamyson Johnson Jamyson Johnson 6'4" | CG Cardinal Ritter | 2023 IN (Cardinal Ritter H.S. 2023): Long, athletic 6’3″ wing that shot the ball well at the showcase on Saturday. Johnson showed off a quick release and the ability to catch-and-shoot from beyond the arc.
#122 Hunter Johnson Hunter Johnson 6'2" | SG South Decatur | 2022 State IN (South Decatur H.S. 2022): Johnson is a pure scoring threat that is ready to fill it up at all times. He led the fast break at times and showed off some improved passing ability along with scoring it from all-three levels. Very good shooter that can get hot in a hurry. Definitely one for small college prospects to recruit.
#150 Ian Hensley Ian Hensley 6'5" | SG Crawfordsville | 2022 IN (Crawfordsville H.S. 2022): Hensley is a 6’4″ wing that loves to catch-and-shoot. He has a good looking stroke and posses the size to get his shot off against pressure. High academic prospect with a bright future.
#175 Sabien Cain Sabien Cain 6'2" | CG Millennium | 2024 State AZ (University H.S. 2024): This University High School product turned some heads on Saturday with his 6’3″ frame and shooting ability. He knocked in several from beyond the arc in the action I saw and should be one to follow in the Class of 2024.
#192 Caleb Lehrman Caleb Lehrman 6'7" | PF Bishop Dwenger | 2024 State IN (Bishop Dwenger H.S. 2024): 6’7″ Class of 2024 product with a ton of upside. He has a lot of interior skill for a kid that is just a sophomore and will develop into a beast as he gets stronger. Offensive rebounds, finishes around the basket, keeps the ball high, and has feel for the game. Really like this prospect.
#200 Dylan Watson Dylan Watson 6'9" | C Castle | 2023 State IN (Castle H.S. 2023): Quite simply, Watson is a big dude. Listed at 6’10” he takes up a ton of space on the block and has some present strength to battle inside. Had a handful of nice finishes around the rim on Saturday. College programs always need size and Watson has plenty of it.
Team 10
#20 Tyler Kerkhof Tyler Kerkhof 6'1" | PG Greenfield-Central | 2023 State IN (Greenfield Central H.S. 2023): Kerkof is a pure shot maker. He was filling it up from beyond the arc each time I saw him on Saturday. The 6’0″ guard can make deep ones behind the ballscreen, create space to get his own shot off, or knock down catch-and-shoot threes. Really puts pressure on the defense at all times.
#69 Cade Brenner Cade Brenner 6'3" | SG NorthWood | 2023 State IN (Northwood H.S. 2023): This is a prospect that really stood out to me as a player I wasn’t too familiar with heading into the Top 250. Brenner is a 6’3″ that made threes and then attacked closeouts off the bounce as he attracted more attention. Strong player that plays off of two feet at the end of his drives. Remember the name.
#98 Jordan Bowles Jordan Bowles 6'1" | PG Park Tudor | 2022 State IN (Park Tudor H.S. 2022): Super strong, shifty point guard that makes all of the right plays as your floor general. Bowels stands at 6’1″ with the physical strength to make defenders bounce off of him on the way to the basket. Plays off of a ballscreen well and showcases a nice intermediate game with an array of floaters.
#118 Zach Reed Zach Reed 6'3" | PG Brebeuf Jesuit | 2022 IN (Brebeuf Jesuit 2022): Another standout on the day that turned some heads, Reed is an aggressive, skilled offensive player. He made some shots from beyond the arc but seemed most comfortable attacking the basket. Good 6’3″ frame with some athleticism. Really impressive performance from the senior wing.
#137 Kaleb Kellems Kaleb Kellems 6'4" | SF North Harrison | 2023 State IN (North Harrison H.S. 2023): Long 6’4″ lefty with a nice shooting stroke from the perimeter. Always ready to catch-and-shoot and moves well without the ball as he works to get open.
#139 Richard Brooks Richard Brooks 6'3" | SF Mishawaka Marian | 2022 State IN (Mishawaka Marian H.S. 2022): Brooks continues to be a personal favorite in the class of 2022. Super skilled offensive player that can score it in so many different ways. Excellent outside shooter, has the mid-range game off the dribble, and physical enough to beat people up inside. Had a nice baseline drive and dunk too. This guy is worth some scholarship money.
#157 Lukas Balling Lukas Balling 6'5" | PF Marquette Catholic | 2023 State IN (Marquette Catholic H.S. 2023): Listed at 6’6″, Balling has an impressive long, athletic frame. He runs the floor well, had a nice catch and finish as the roll man in a pick-and-roll, and consistently scored inside. Nice prospect that broke onto the scene at the Top 250.
#169 Wyatt Zellers (Scottsburg H.S. 2024): I was really impressed with this 6’7″ 2024 prospect on Saturday. Left-handed post that rim runs in transition with good mobility and footwork. Had a big time offensive rebound putback and several other interior finishes. As he adds strength he will continue to develop into a nice post prospect.
