With those players we’ve formed a 1st and a 2nd all Expo Team, in this article we take a deeper look into the girls that form the 2nd Team and what they did to make it on this list.
Anthony Harris- Smoky Hill
Anthony Harris was one of the best prospects during Sunday’s Top 250 Expo. The 6’5 wing put his athleticism on full display. Harris was flying all over the floor and made impact plays. He met players at the rim that would come into the paint and got in the lane for ridiculous dunks. As the day went on, he became a clear fan favorite as everyone made sure to watch him play. Anthony is a highlight reel but what went unnoticed throughout the day was his willingness to work on different parts of his game, like pull-up jumpers and creating for others on the break. These are a few things he will be asked to do this season as he takes on a bigger role in helping his Smoky Hill team make a deep playoff push.
Brock Wisne Brock Wisne 6'9" Colorado Prep Of Saint Marys | 2022 CO – Colorado Prep
It was good to see Brock Winse back healthy after his ankle injury that sat him down for most of the summer. Even after having some time off, he came back looking great. He showed off his leaping ability as he finished above the rim for most of the day, including a big windmill dunk that took others by surprise. Brock was a walking double-double all day and got whatever he wanted in the paint against whoever. Defensively, he altered shots at the rim and even stepped out and defended smaller guards at times. As the years have passed, Brock is a kid that has improved his game year after year, and has never become content. With him coming into his senior year, I expect him to end it with a bang.
Derik Pranger Derik Pranger 6'8" Colorado Prep Academy | 2022 CO – Colorado Prep
Derik Pranger Derik Pranger 6'8" Colorado Prep Academy | 2022 CO is a player that tends to dominate in these showcase settings. His game is tailor-made for that style of play. Derik is a great athlete who can score from all three levels and does it with ease. Pranger is a guy that you love to have on your team but never want to play against as he will go hard every play and make sure he does whatever needs to be done to win games. This upcoming season at Colorado Prep will be an interesting one for Derik as he goes into a role that involves him scoring a ton. It should be fun.
Brock Mishak Brock Mishak 6'3" Fossil Ridge | 2022 CO – Fossil Ridge
Brock Mishak Brock Mishak 6'3" Fossil Ridge | 2022 CO is an all-around bucket. He is a scoring guard that puts points on the boards in bunches. At 6’3, Brock has a height advantage over most other guards and he uses it to shoot over the top or even take small guards to the post. During the Top 250 Expo, Brock shot the ball exceptionally well, easily qualifying to be a standout in multiple categories like the top shooter, scorer, and even playmaker. When the shot wasn’t falling for Mishak he turned into a distributor that showed that he could get others involved.
Andrew Crawford Andrew Crawford 6'6" | CG ThunderRidge | 2024 State #88 Nation CO – ThunderRidge
Andrew Crawford Andrew Crawford 6'6" | CG ThunderRidge | 2024 State #88 Nation CO was the player that turned a lot of heads with his play during the Top 250 Expo. The young 2024 forward had his talents on full display Sunday afternoon. He knocked down shots at a high level for most of the day, as well as showing off his ball-handling skills and being able to get to the rim whenever he wanted to. One thing that surprised me most able Andrew is his willingness to use his body when driving to the rim or posting up. He went straight into defenders every time and didn’t shy away from contact.
