We’ve got work to do in terms of coming up with even a watchlist for the Class of 2025, but we’ll certainly be keeping a close eye on this year’s freshman once fall league starts. There are the makings of a very talented group and things may very well start with these five guys, names you should know going into the 2021-22 season.

Jalen Atkins Jalen Atkins 6'3" | SF Barlow | 2025 OR , Barlow

Already blessed with good size at 6-foot-3 and a body physically mature for his age, great things are already being projected for Atkins. He’s a pure scorer who can do damage at all three levels and he’ll contribute immediately and often for Bruins head coach Tom Johnson, who coached Atkins’ father Josh in high school.

Brayden Boe Brayden Boe 6'3" | CG Mountainside | 2025 OR , Mountainside

Boe is an all-around scorer and distributor who already has the body of a senior. The 6-foot-3 combo guard certainly made a name for himself with the Oregon Prospects this summer and caught the attention of Portland head coach Shantay Legans, who has offered him a scholarship. Boe has the genetics - his father is former Beaverton standout Brent Boe.
