Ramzi Salem Ramzi Salem 6'3" | CG John Burroughs | 2024 State MO 6’3 John Burroughs: A smooth combo guard who has excellent handles and a very good feel for the game. His passing skills are elite as he can see things develop and drop some nice dimes from various angles on the court. He can hit the 3-pointer but he’s especially good at knocking down the mid-range jumper off the bounce where he gets good elevation.
Josiah Kirkwood Josiah Kirkwood 5'11" | PG Grandview | 2024 State MO 5’7″ Grandview: A very quick point guard who played well as a varsity starter as a freshman last season. His speed and quickness are real assets in the open court and he doesn’t abuse it with bad decisions. He has a high basketball IQ and he’s willing to change speeds and directions to keep defenders off balance.
Kavan Newberry Kavan Newberry 5'11" | PG Lee's Summit North | 2024 State MO 5’11″ Lee’s Summit North: A smooth point guard who handled himself quite well while playing up at the 16U level for the Missouri Hawks. He has excellent court vision which enables him to pass his teammates open. He has a high basketball IQ and he can excel at any tempo because he is always thinking and adjusting on the fly.
DJ Long DJ Long 6'0" | PG Mexico | 2024 State MO 5’9″ Mexico: A very athletic young point guard who will be a big addition at Mexico after an excellent freshman season at Van-Far. He has good quickness and a very good burst to get by defenders. He will also knock down his high-arching 3-pointers off the catch.
Josh Salinas Josh Salinas 6'0" | PG Lee's Summit West | 2024 State MO 6’0″ Lee’s Summit West: A solid combo guard who can impact the game at both ends of the floor. He operates well at his own pace with his ability to lull defenders then hit them with a burst to get to the basket. He will also hit the 3-pointer if they back up on him. He is also very disruptive on the defensive end as he can create steals by picking pockets or being in the right position and using his quick hands.
