Totino-Grace (1). The Eagles are huge, and talented. Patrick Bath Patrick Bath 6'9" | C Totino Grace | 2023 State MN and Ahjany Lee Ahjany Lee 6'9" | C Byron | 2022 State #145 Nation MN will start in the post and both players are nationally ranked and among the best at their spots in the state. Lee – who is at UST right now on an official visit – can play the four/five as can Bath so they will be interchangeable, and both at their best around the bucket on both ends. Then you have 6’9 PJ Ebeling also inside so it’s a big group PLUS they can play Demarion Watson Demarion Watson 6'8" | SF Totino-Grace | 2022 State #150 Nation MN at the four if they want length there next to a big.
Columbia Heights (2). The combination of Spencer Alvarez Spencer Alvarez 6'6" | PF Columbia Heights | 2022 MN , a Minnesota football commit, and Donnavin Hinz gives the Hylanders to mobile and strong bigs that can man the paint for a top 2-3 team in Class AAA. Alvarez is willing to do anything on the court to help his team while Hinz is quite explosive rebounding, contesting, and finishing.
Princeton (3). Ben Hallberg is a solid 6’6 post inside for the Tigers and teaming with double-double monster Haydn Stay Haydn Stay 6'4" | PG Princeton | 2022 State MN the Tigers can get it down inside and out.
St. Francis (4). Matthew Bothun Matthew Bothun 6'9" | PF St. Francis | 2023 State MN faced up and scored 18 a game last season as a sophomore. Bothun has strong potential as a stretch four man but his size will also be needed around the basket. At 6’6 Jacob Schultz is ready for a strong senior year and he can allow Bothun to play away from the cup.
Richfield (5). Jaden Wollmuth Jaden Wollmuth 6'5" | C Richfield | 2022 State MN had a great season as a 6’6 skilled, active big man that can face or play with his back to the basket. Wollmuth will need more help around him but he will be one of the better Class AAA bigs.
St. Peter (6). Really like what Bennett Olson Bennett Olson 6'6" | PF St. Peter | 2022 State MN brings as a face-up four man and Alex Bosacker is a fellow frontcourt senior that will pair with him. Olson could be a really nice MIAC prospect.
Saint Anthony (7). A group that I think could make some big noise is from St. Anthony Village. Gani Stevens Gani Stevens 6'7" | C Saint Anthony Village | 2022 State MN could have a big senior year and Liam Culhane is next to him giving them a 6’7/6’6 duo.
Stewartville (8). The Tigers lost Class AA Player of the Year Will Tschetter Will Tschetter 6'8" | PF Stewartville | 2021 State #96 Nation MN but they will still be tough inside. Miles Hettinger Miles Hettinger 6'8" | C Stewartville | 2022 State MN is now inside and he will be flanked by Henry Tschetter Henry Tschetter 6'3" | SG Stewartville | 2024 State MN , Bode Mayer Bode Mayer 6'5" | PF Stewartville | 2022 State MN , and Max Barnes as a nice frontcourt group.
Albert Lea (9). The Tigers had a rough season last year but Pal Wal Pal Wal 6'5" | PF Albert Lea | 2023 State MN is a top 25 player in the junior class and one of the best frontcourt players in that class.
St. Thomas Academy (10). If Nathan Johnson Nathan Johnson 6'6" | C St. Thomas Academy | 2022 State MN is healthy he could have a big senior year. Especially with some worker fours competing around him as Johnson is 6’8.
