The class of 2024, right now seems to be a major force of talent that should have high major college coaches watching. Players are not in any order.

Johnuel Fland 6”2. 2024. Stepinac HS

Top 10 player in the league already. Does it on both ends of the court. Can take over games. Very confident skilled player. During spring and summer events with the ball in his hands, he demonstrated the ability to make the big play or just sink clutch free throws late in the game.

[player_tooltip player_id="1195555" first="Ian" last="Jackson"]. 6”5. 2024. Cardinal Hayes HS

A major talent. Elite athletic ability. Getting to the rim in the half-court he displays strength and athleticism. He is close to unstoppable in transition. Can flat out score the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id="1195558" first="Dwayne" last="Pierce"]. 6”5. 2024. Christ the King HS ( pictured)

High basketball IQ. With a skill set off the charts. An excellent shooter who finishes at the rim through contact. Has a coach mentality. Knows the game, no need to correct him for a missed play he knows it before it is brought up. But that does not happen often. Major talent.

[player_tooltip player_id="1195557" first="Jacob" last="Hogarth"] 6”9. 2024. Stepinac HS

Four players in, on this list and you can see the incredible talent of this class. Jacob is right there with them all. Showed the ability to shoot the perimeter jumper. But is really dangerous above the rim. High energy player. Elite athlete. These guys might not only be top in the class of 2024 in the Chsaa, but are potentially top 100 players in the country.

[player_tooltip player_id="1195560" first="Jaylen" last="Pray"]. 6”8. 2024. Iona Prep HS

A player who is still growing. Might not be the most recognizable name right now but will be in the conversation about talented city big men. Can post up low and wide clearing space and scoring inside. Sneaky quickness getting to the basket. Strong rebounder in traffic. Saw him in the special 7 game series vs Stepinac. Jaylen did not show any backdown against future Boston University player ( 2021Malcolm Chimezie). He has continued to show he will be a player to know in the Chsaa.

[player_tooltip player_id="1195601" first="Nico" last="Pena"] 2024. Xaverian HS

Unlimited range. Finishes strong at the rim. Tremendous defender in help and read. No quit tough player on either end of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="1199070" first="Elijah" last="Moore"]. 6”3. 2024. Cardinal Hayes HS

Lights out shooter. Hit many corner threes in events I saw him play. Handles the ball well.

[player_tooltip player_id="1195568" first="Elijah" last="Small"]. 6”6. 2024. Molloy HS

Tremendous athlete. Tenacious rebounder on both ends of the floor. A flat-out scorer.
