The summer season offers a ton of opportunities for potential prospects. The NCAA provided 6 Live Period Days in June (June 18th – 20th June 25th-27th) and 9 Days in July (July 8th – 11th, July 21st -26th). Some players used this period to justify their rankings, others as a way to catch the eyes of coaches and scouts. In this article, a follow up to our Summer Stockrisers Part 1 we take a look at some local players who used the summer to raise their stock. 

Chris Parra Jr. Chris Parra Jr. 6'0" | PG Atrisco Heritage | 2023 State NM 6’0 PG Afrisco Heritage 2023 - Parra is a floor-spacing PG. He shot the ball well in a couple of big events, including the Las Vegas Royalty Big time event. He’s got legit Pro range and plays with a nice change of pace, keeping defenders off balance. 

Sean Alter Sean Alter 6'8" | PF Volcano Vista | 2023 State NM 6’8 PF 2023 (featured image) - Alter showed that he is more than a big body. The athletic post displayed the ability to score around the rim with his strong hand. He’s a good low post player that made it difficult for taller players to receive direct passes.
