Patriots Senior Wing Nehemiah Thomas: His team needed some offensive production and that’s exactly what he provided with a game high of 23 Points. Scoring inside the paint and from midrange consistently, he’s one of those players that doesn’t waste dribbles and converts difficult shots.
The Dawgs Sophomore Wing Ari Fulton Ari Fulton 6'7" | SF Westover | 2024 State NC : This was his first game back in the last few weeks but he was productive as soon as he stepped on the court. He got into the paint just about whenever he wanted and worked hard on both ends of the floor for rebounds.
Team Rosehill Junior Guard Malachi Travis Malachi Travis 6'2" | CG New Life Christian | 2023 State NC : He’s found his rhythm scoring the ball over the last few games and he kept his streak going with 16 Points in their win against The Patriots. Knocking down the trey ball with consistency but also scoring when he attacks the basket, Travis continues to prove that he can score with some of the best in the league.
Robeson County Post Grad WF Matt Locklear: Rebounding the ball and scoring inside the paint are what he’s known for and that’s exactly what we saw from him on Thursday. Locklear does a great job of getting proper positioning and using his body to box out taller opponents.
Patriots Junior Forward Shaun Thomas: At this point he’s a raw talent prospect but we love how hard he competes and what he can potentially be. Standing at about 6’3/6’4 with a nice wingspan and a high motor, he finds ways to make an impact on the game without having any plays being ran for him. He finished the night with 8 Points and a team high of 7 Rebounds.
Team Rosehill Junior Wing Steven Lassiter Steven Lassiter 6'6" | PF The Burlington School | 2023 State NC : He led his team in scoring with a game high of 17 Points, getting into the paint at a very high rate. On the defensive side of the ball he was solid, defending multiple positions.
