Week 1 of the 9 Dime Fall League took place last weekend with teams from all around the Cape Fear Region coming in to compete. For many players this was the first opportunity to compete with their high school teammates in a structured environment. Let’s take a look at some of the top performers from this past weekend.

Eagles Senior Guard Amari Pearson Amari Pearson 6'3" | CG Cape Fear Christian Academy | 2022 State NC : One of the leading scorers on the day with 27 Points, Pearson showcased an offensive skillset that helped his team take home the win. His athleticism, defense and high motor has always been attributes he possessed but now he’s developed his perimeter shooting which makes him an even more intriguing prospect and harder to defend.

Patriots Senior Wing Nehemiah Thomas: A player that we got our first introduction last weekend, he led his team in scoring and showed some potential to be a prospect on the next level. Showcasing an efficient jumper from midrange and the ability to rebound the ball at a high rate, he understands how to use his height to his advantage to make plays.
