Team Northside, The Patriots and Robeson County all go into week three undefeated while four teams hold of a record of 1-1.
Robeson County/Flight Prep 2022 Guard Charlie Miller Charlie Miller 6'0" | SG Lumberton | 2021 State NC : Miller caught fire from downtown as soon as the game began and remained consistent throughout, knocking down seven three point shots and finishing with a team high of 23 Points. He does a nice job of moving without the ball and always being ready to shoot which helps him to get his shot off quickly.
Bucks/Hoke County HS 2024 Guard Jaylen Sturdivant Jaylen Sturdivant 6'4" | CG Hoke | 2024 State NC : His 19 Point performance in the first half was one of the highest scoring halves that we have seen in the 9DIME Fall League in two seasons. His three point shooting ability combined with his ballhandling skills and strength allows him to score the ball on multiple levels as well as drawing a nice amount of fouls. The next step in his development will be to remain aggressive and consistent throughout the second half as he finished with 24 Points overall on the game, 5 Points in the second half. Overall he impressed us once again and is proving himself not only as a Rookie of the year candidate but also as a college prospect.
Team Northside/ Pine Forest HS 2023 Guard Isaiah Washington Isaiah Washington 6'5" | SG Winston-Salem Christian | 2024 State NC : Washington walks into week 3 as the leading scorer in the league, averaging 24.5 PPG and leading his team to a record of 2-0. During their matchup with Rosehill he attacked the basket, scoring a game high of 22 Points, not settling for the outside shot but instead breaking down defenders to get to the paint for buckets and drawn fouls.
Team Westside/Westover HS 2024 Guard Almare Josey: His team was short handed missing their taller players and the leading scorer from week 1, so a big time performance from someone different was needed and Josey stepped up. He found his rhythm scoring the ball, finishing with a team high of 19 Points but also made winning plays on the defensive side of the ball.
The Dawgs/Terry Sanford HS 2022 Guard Davis Molnar Davis Molnar 6'6" | SF Terry Sanford | 2022 State NC : It’s seems as if each time he steps on the court he’s flirting with a double/double or even a triple double and that is exactly what we saw from him in their matchup with The Life. He scored the ball efficiently, facilitated to teammates and was absolutely dominant on the boards, pulling down 12 rebounds in the first half and totaling 15 rebounds for the game. His stats and overall play was impressive but his IQ for the game is what really sets him apart, with just seconds remaining and his team trailing by one point, he used a timely shot to draw a foul which allowed him to get to the line and knock down the game winning free throws.
