Check out our 5 must see seniors and 5 must see juniors below:
Durral Brooks Durral Brooks 6'2" | PG Grand Rapids Catholic Central | 2024 State MI (PG, Grand Rapids Catholic Central)
Brooks was at Flight Hankamp and he made it perfectly clear what kind of player he is that night. Brooks can use his strength to play off contact and use it to create space. He’s creative, yet assertive, with the ball in his hands. Brooks showed that he can play both as a pass first and a score first lead guard.
Chas Lewless Chas Lewless 6'3" | PG Detroit King | 2024 KS (PG, Detroit Catholic Central)
Lewless has all the makings of a superstar lead guard. He finds his teammates with precision passes and is a terrific leader, especially as an underclassmen. Lewless is especially outstanding when paired with a quality big man. He instinctively knows how and when to get him the ball in the paint, as well as when to get his.
Keyonta Menifield Keyonta Menifield 5'8" | PG Flint Beecher | 2024 State MI (PG, Flint Beecher)
That’s right, another Menifield for schools in Michigan to have to deal with. Keyonta is a terrific ball handler with start-stop speed and wiggle that will remind you of his brother. Menifield is a bona fide playmaker ready to break out in a fashion that we’ve seen before.
Dontez Scott Dontez Scott 6'0" | PG Summit Academy North | 2024 State MI (PG, Summit Academy)
Scott was another player that showed out at Flight Hankamp. He can play effectively at such a high speed and can create high percentage looks in the open floor. Scott looked very dangerous when out in transition and given a chance to work his sender 1 on 1. He has a huge upside and will form one of the best backcourts in the state with Orlando Lovejoy Orlando Lovejoy 6'3" | CG 1 of 1 Prep | 2022 State NC .
Xander Wedlow Xander Wedlow 6'9" | PF University Prep | 2024 State MI (PF, University Prep)
Wedlow is steadily gaining steam as a prospect and growing as a player. He’s doing a nice job learning how to use his size and athleticism. Wedlow plays a very did vertical game and has shown the potential to be a real force defensively. He could be on the verge of a huge high school season.
