Gill St. Bernard’s Naasir Cunningham Naasir Cunningham 6'7" | SF Southern California Academy | 2024 #41 Nation CA-S leads the way, but he is not the only talented wing set for a strong season. Here are the top 2024 wings set for a big 2021-22 campaign.
Dylan Harper Dylan Harper 6'6" | SG Don Bosco Prep | 2024 State #3 Nation NJ , 6’4 SG Don Bosco Prep
Harper’s collegiate future will be in the back court, but may have to get some time down low due to the Ironmen’s lack of size. The 6’4 lefty has a smooth shooting stroke and can knock down jumpers in bunches. Harper is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. He is an underrated passer and goes after rebounds on both ends of the floor. Harper will be tasked with being a go-to guy on the wing for Don Bosco Prep, which gives him the opportunity to have a big season.
Savod Godwin Savod Godwin 6'5" | SF Arts | 2024 State NJ , 6’5 SF Arts
Godwin had a strong debut season for the Jaguars, but more will be asked for him in year 2. The 6’5 wing is at his best attacking the basket as he is a good finisher and does not mind drawing contact. Godwin has a nice release on his jumper and his range extends past the three-point line. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and makes plays on the defensive end. Godwin’s ability to play at both ends of the floor is something that will help his stock in a big way as the season goes on.
Elijah Brown Elijah Brown 6'4" | SG Life Center Academy | 2025 State NJ , 6’4 SG St. Augustine
Brown is a player to watch in South Jersey this season as he gets more playing time for the Hermits. The 6’4 wing is a tough defender as he moves his feet well and uses his athleticism to make plays. Brown is a good passer on the perimeter as he knows how to get his teammates the ball in the right spots. He moves well off the ball as well and is a good finisher around the basket. Brown’s ability to do the little things on the floor is a big reason why he is in store for a breakout sophomore campaign.
Zack Davis Zack Davis 6'7" | SF Peddie | 2024 State NJ , 6’7 SF Ranney
Davis may have to play a little inside this season for the Panthers, but his collegiate future will be on the wing. The 6’7 forward has a good shooting stroke and uses his size to shoot over smaller defenders. Davis moves well off the ball and can put the ball on the floor from time to time. He moves his feet well on the defensive end and is an underrated rebounder. Davis is a breakout candidate to watch in Central Jersey this season as he gets more touches on the offensive end.
Peyton Seals Peyton Seals 6'4" | SG Ramapo | 2024 State NJ , 6’3 SG Ramapo
Seals has had a strong summer with the Hilltopper Basketball Club and is looking to carry that over into the winter season. The 6’3 guard has a good handle, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finish around the rim. Seals has a clean release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. He has the potential to run the offense in a pinch and is an underrated passer. Seals is a big-time scorer, who will get to show off more of his scoring ability in his second varsity season.
