Doyle Brown Doyle Brown 6'1" | SG Bethel Academy | 2024 State VA | 6’1” CG | Centreville
Brown was part of Centreville’s run to the state championship last year, but after a successful summer with District Basketball Club and the departure of a number of seniors he’s set to become one of the top guards in NOVA. Brown’s the definition of a combo as he handles well enough to initiate the offense and create but he’s also a big time shooter who can move off the ball, he can fill it up in bunches and he’s a tenacious on ball defender too.
Dante Kearse Dante Kearse 6'5" | SF Hargrave Military Academy | 2023 State VA | 6’4” WF | Manchester
Kearse was part of a surprise Manchester group last year that made it to the Class 5 Region B championship before falling to LC Bird, and he’ll lead the group this year with another year of experience under his belt. He’s an athletic forward that can play on the wing or in the post, he’s able to put it on the deck and create for himself and others and he’s a big finisher at and above the rim.
Josh Sime Josh Sime 6'8" | PF Western Albemarle | 2023 State VA | 6’8” PF | Western Albemarle
Sime was on his way to having a breakout sophomore season at Western before their season was canceled due to Covid, and now he’ll have the chance to be one of the best bigs in the Charlottesville area this year. He had a good summer with Boo Williams where he showed he can command the paint on both ends of the floor, he’s improving in his ability to step out and stretch the floor and he brings toughness and a high motor every time he’s on the floor.
Ryan Hite Ryan Hite 6'3" | PG King's Fork | 2023 State VA | 6’3” PG | King’s Fork
Hite is part of a talented young group at King’s Fork that includes one of the top backcourts in the 757, and with the departure of Jayden Epps and Quentin Livingston Quentin Livingston 6'4" | SF Kings Fork | 2021 State VA he will be one of their leaders and go-to guys this year. A strong and athletic guard who can score it and make plays for others, Hite can play both guard positions and can knock it down from deep, get to the rim and finish and can make plays for others too.
Dylan Saunders Dylan Saunders 6'8" | C Cave Spring | 2023 State VA | 6’8” PF | Cave Spring
Saunders is the next in a long line of Cave Spring bigs that are collegiate prospects, and so far through his career he’s showing signs that he could be the best one of the group with his blend of size, skill and production level. At 6’8” he’s strong and has good touch and finesse in the paint with both hands, he rebounds well on both ends of the floor and he can step out and make shots out to the three-point line too.
Cam Cole | 6’1” PG | Highland School
Cole is another player who is sitting nicely to step in and take the reigns of a talented group at Highland after some of their top players left including All State guard Angelo Brizzi Angelo Brizzi 6'3" | PG Highland School | 2021 State #216 Nation VA who is heading to Villanova. Cole is a smooth and shifty guard off the bounce that can carve up the lane and create in isolation situations, he’s crafty as a finisher and a playmaker and he can step out and knock it down from deep consistently.
