Justin Monden Justin Monden 5'10" | PG Word of God | 2023 State NC | 5’11 Point Guard | Heritage High
Monden is an under-the-radar name in the 2022 class, though ranked at the No. 62 spot in the rankings in the state. He’s a crafty floor general that leads by example with his ability to knock down shots and get to the rim off the bounce. He recently earned an offer from Guilford College. Look for more schools to extend offers his way very soon. He’ll be worth a watch in 2021-22 as the primary option at Heritage High.
Adam Vincent Adam Vincent 6'4" | CG Piedmont Classical | 2022 State NC | 6’4 Guard/Wing | Piedmont Classical
Vincent is a nice three-level scoring threat with underrated athleticism in his skill set that he uses well to make an impact on the floor. He does well to space the floor on the perimeter and depending on what the defense gives him, makes solid reads to make decisions with the ball in his hands. He’ll be an exciting prospect to keep an eye on over at Piedmont Classical in 2021-22.
Shawn Haskins Shawn Haskins 6'4" | PF Wayne Christian | 2022 State NC | 6’4 Forward | Wayne Christian
Haskins is a versatile prospect at 6-foot-4 with a nice skill set already. He was a standout inside and outside the perimeter at the WJG Sports Classic this year, showing off his shooting and defensive ability in the paint at 6-foot-4. He’s got a solid frame that college coaches could use on their sidelines. He’ll be worth a look this season at Wayne Christian.
Life Yim Life Yim 6'2" | PF Davidson | 2022 State NC | 6’2 Forward | North Davidson
Yim isn’t the biggest forward, per se, but he uses his 6-foot-2 frame well to navigate the paint and make plays around the rim on both ends of the floor. He keeps teams really guessing when he steps out onto the perimeter to handle the ball and knock down shots. He’ll be an intriguing name to track at North Davidson High in 2021-22.
Sterling Charles Jr Sterling Charles Jr 6'2" | CG Forsyth Country Day | 2022 State NC | 6’2 Guard | Forsyth Country Day
Charles is a senior prospect to know in the Forsyth Country Day School rotation with his ability to knock down shots on all three levels and defend with energy all over the floor. He’s a prospect who’s come on strong over the summer and made his presence felt at Triad Blue Chip Academy First 48 County Clash. Look for him to lead the way as an off-the-ball threat in 2021-22.
Patrick Malott Patrick Malott 6'1" | CG Apex | 2022 State NC | 6’1 Guard | Apex High
Malott is a gritty guard with nice size at 6-foot-1 that he uses well to play either guard position. He’s comfortable at the point guard spot but won’t hesitate to get open and find his own shot without the ball. He’s got a coachable drive and a knack for leading by example that’s hard to ignore. As he shows he can be consistent in big moments and make sound decisions, look for his recruitment to grow at Apex High.
