Saxby Sunderland Saxby Sunderland 6'2" | CG Flint Hill | 2022 State VA | 6’3” CG | Flint Hill ’22
Sunderland took full advantage of both the high school and AAU live periods racking up a good amount of new offers and quickly becoming one of the hottest prospects in the DMV. He’s a scoring combo guard who is shifty off the bounce but is especially dangerous due to his ability to shoot it off the bounce. He’s a shot maker who can score from multiple levels, is great coming off pick-and-rolls and knocking down shots and he’s capable of taking over games with his shooting ability.
Cavan Reilly Cavan Reilly 6'4" | SG Bishop O'Connell | 2022 State VA | 6’3” WG | Bishop O’Connell ’22
Really is another guy who really benefited during the live periods as he tore up the UAA Circuit with DC Premier and solidified himself as one of the top shooters in VA if not on the east coast. He’s a wiry and tough guard that has excellent form and deep range, and if he gets just a sliver of room he will make defenses pay. Throw in the fact that he’s a hustle guy and isn’t a liability on the defensive end and it’s easy to see why so many division one schools are making a push for him.
Connor Dubsky Connor Dubsky 6'4" | SG Sunrise Christian Academy | 2023 State NLG | 6’2” WG | Bishop O’Connell ’22
Dubsky is one of the most underrated players in the DMV, and he had a great summer playing with Prospect U Red showing his scoring ability. He can light it up from deep and has a quick release and is very consistent, and he’s worked to round his game out with his ability to put it on the deck and score from multiple levels too. He gets hot quickly and can fill it up in bunches, and the way he’s improved bolds well for him moving forward.
Garrett Brennan Garrett Brennan 6'3" | CG St. Stephens & St. Agnes | 2022 State VA | 6’3” WG | St. Stephen’s St. Agnes ’22
Brennan has been a big part of SSSAS success in the past few years, and while his toughness and playmaking ability is a big part of that he’s also a big time shooter. He can play on and off the ball and can knock down shots from multiple levels, he’s excellent coming off screens and in flairs and he’s very consistent from deep too. He’s the x-factor for the Saints and one of the more under recruited guys in the area.
Nate Pabis Nate Pabis 6'5" | SF Flint Hill | 2023 State VA | 6’4” WG | Flint Hill ’22
Pabis has really worked on his game and his body in the past few years, but one thing he’s always been able to do is let it fly and knock it down. He’s long and has good size allowing him to make shots with little to no space, he has a quick release and deep range and is very confident in his ability to shoot it. He doesn’t go through cold streaks for very long and he is a good defender as well.
John Loughlin John Loughlin 6'1" | CG Episcopal | 2022 State VA | 6’0” CG | Episcopal ’22
Loughlin is set to have a breakout year in the IAC this season with the departure of Episcopal’s top players over the past few years, and he had a very good live period for them at DeMatha. He’s a lights out shooter from deep and has always been able to catch and shoot, but he’s also a solid playmaker and tone setters as well. He has deep range and a quick release and will make you pay if you sag off of him.
