All of these guys have left quite the impact on the state of Kansas and will look to impress a new region.
Taj Manning Taj Manning 6'6" | PF Bishop Miege | 2022 KS , 6’7 Forward, La Lumiere (IN), 2022
The talented 3-5 man will be taking his 15 points and 7 rebounds per game with him to the acclaimed Ls Lumiere program where he will be able to play against some top tier opponents and really hone in his game. His perimeter play grew big time this summer and the athletic and powerful forward has gained some versatility to his offensive game making him even more scary to have to try and guard. Shot is well over 60% from the field in HS this season and was the most efficient scorer in the UAA finals this summer.
Nahcs Wahwassuck Nahcs Wahwassuck 6'5" | CG Royal Valley | 2022 State KS , 6’5 Guard, Link Academy
An all around great guard who plays with tremendous efficiency on the floor. Scores it at a high clip and has extended his range to be a consistent 3 point shooter as well, especially off the catch. A crafty finisher, dominant when getting down hill, big time on ball screens, and can guard the 1-4. Link will have a ton of flexibility with Wahwassuck this season on their loaded roster. Averaged 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists over the grassroots season.
Julian Margrave Julian Margrave 6'9" | SF Louisberg | 2022 KS , 6’9 Forward, New Hampton Prep, 2022
The big time lengthy shooter will be taking his talents to New Hampshire this year to continue to grow his game. His length, knockdown shooting ability, and defensive versatility will bring an instant impact to New Hampton and as his attacking with the ball and playing off the catch game continues to get refined against top competition, Margrave is going to become an elite talent.
Jevon Hill Jevon Hill 6'7" | PF Trinity Christian | 2022 KS , 6’8 Forward, Legacy School (TX) 2022
Another long stretch 4, wing hybrid who will look to continue to refine his game down in Texas. Was a top tier shooter in Kansas this last high school season and throughout the grassroots run. Continuing to develop his strength and athleticism will go a long ways with his game with his 3 point shooting and length continuing to translate for him to contribute right away in his new venture.
Cameron Carr, 6’2 Guard, Link Academy (MO) 2023
Came on strong late for Manhattan High last high school season and battled some injuries during the grassroots run, but became a big time reliable knock down shooter for MoKan EYBL’s 16U team. Has a smooth stroke from the perimeter both off the catch and dribble. His long arms and continuing to grow make him a really intriguing prospect. Has two years down at Link and the potential for his game to expand tremendously is ever present.
Javan Buchanan, 6’6 Forward, Lafayette Jefferson (IN), 2022
Versatile and athletic wing/forward who had a great summer already playing up in Indiana. Knocks down shots, is extremely active on both ends of the floor, and has some great physical tools to allow him to be contributor wherever he is at. Him putting the ball on the deck and getting into the paint led to some eye popping finishes and plays at the rim over the summer. Big year ahead for Javan.
