Damone King Damone King 6'0" | PG DeSales | 2024 State KY , DuPont Manual – I’ve said before and will say again that I love Damone’s game and think he has a chance to be a special player in the 2024 class. Whether it was in high school or AAU this summer, King showed he has that “it” factor that you look for in a lead guard. King plays the game with a swagger about him and is only going to get better as he grows and gets stronger.
Jacob Tucker Jacob Tucker 6'3" | SG Fairdale | 2024 State KY , Fairdale – Tucker is another Louisville Sophomore whose upside really impresses me. He’s a strong wing that will not hesitate to try and dunk on anyone who gets in his way. Jacob is also a good shooter who had a strong summer with the Louisville Legends and is on the short list of the top 2024s in the Derby City.
Ian Reesor Ian Reesor 6'6" | PF Sayre | 2024 State KY , Lexington Catholic – Catholic has a good 2024 class and Reesor could be a hidden gem for them after not dressing varsity as a freshman. Ian could play the 3, 4 or 5 this season and the recent departure of John Mccrear John Mccrear 6'8" | PF Woodfard | 2023 State #219 Nation KY from Lex Cath opens up minutes for Reesor to see the floor early and often this winter.
Kyran Tilley Kyran Tilley 6'1" | PG Evangel Christian | 2024 State KY , Evangel Christian – Kyran transferred from Male to Evangel and reclassed into the 2024 class after being a 2023 but continued playing 16u AAU in July. Tilley’s biggest weakness is literally his weakness. The extra year should help him to add some bulk and become a better finisher through contact. Pairing him in a backcourt with Christian Spalding Christian Spalding 6'4" | PG Evangel Christian | 2022 State KY should be interesting.
Drae Vasser Drae Vasser 6'1" | PG Trinity | 2024 State KY , Jeffersontown – A new name on the radar for us, Vasser was a part of the talented 15u Louisville Magic team that had a good July. He was a solid contributor at J-town last year and should be mentioned among the top 2024s in the 502. The Chargers have a good core coming back this season and Vasser is among their best prospects.
