Tyler Beaulieu – 6’0” / Episcopal Academy / East Coast Power-Danzig / Combo Guard: What jumps out right away when one watches Beaulieu is his elite athleticism. He can simply take over a game with his physical gifts. On offense he is an aggressive slasher style of prospect who can finish through contact. However, if a defender sags off Beaulieu this shot maker will drain jumpers all the way out to the three point line. Despite all of these scoring skills, Beaulieu possess an unselfish mindset and will not hesitate to distribute the rock to an open teammate. In July Beaulieu posted a stat line of 15.5 ppg., 6 rpg., and 4 apg. On defense, his very quick hands and first-rate anticipation skills produce a number of steals (3.5 spg.in July) and deflections.
Reid Belcher Reid Belcher 5'11" | PG Friends Central | 2024 State PA – 5’11” / Friends Central / K-Low Elite / Combo Guard: We rarely start a prospect profile at the defensive end of the court, but after Belcher averaged 4 steals per game at the HG Summer Jam Fest and was a complete on-ball menace throughout July, it seemed to make sense for this write up. In addition to his defense, last month Belcher hit shots from all three levels as he posted numerous double digit scoring games. His ability to score the rock in transition was noteworthy as well. At the Jersey Shore Jam Fest he posted a season high of 25 points vs. Team Final Red. Belcher helped guide K-Low Elite to the division title at that event as well as the Hoop Group Summer Jam Fest (PA).
Kaydin Ford Kaydin Ford 5'10" | PG Abington Friends | 2024 State PA – 5’7” / Abington Friends / Philly Pride Select / Point Guard: Philly Pride Select posted a 12-4 record in July and Ford’s play was a huge reason for that success. Over a five game stretch of those runs Ford played stellar basketball, averaging 21.8 ppg. and 5 apg. A 25 point game and a 31 point effort certainly grabbed the attention of college coaches. When he has the rock, Ford plays with a great deal of pace which means opposing defenses are constantly under pressure. His quickness and ability to blow past defenders with the dribble allow him to score at the rim frequently. His 3-point shot is respectable enough that defenders cannot sag off him which plays right into Ford’s high level dribble-drive skill set. On defense he terrorizes opposing guards with his quick hands, excellent lateral movement and anticipation abilities.
Greg Guidinger – 6’5” / Central York / York Ballers / Wing: Guidinger is an extremely versatile prospect who is actually a 2024 “playing up” with the 16Us. He has solid handles and scores the ball at the cup with either hand. With his enormous wingspan Guidinger is an excelelent rebounder at both ends of the court. Still, Guidinger’s biggest asset may be his ability to space the floor with his elite level three point shooting (36 threes last winter in only 19 games). Basically, Guidinger projects as the highly coveted stretch-4 style of player. Over the York Ballers last 11 games in July he averaged 17 points and 7 rebounds per contest. During that stretch, the squad went 8-3 and won the Hoop Group Spooky Nook Jam Fest.
Ryan Williams Ryan Williams 6'3" | SG Malvern Prep | 2024 State PA – 6’1” / Malvern Prep / Philly Pride National UAA / Point Guard: Williams is a super quick floor general with circus handles. That combination means Williams can get into the paint for a floater or all the way to the tin for a bucket whenever he wants. Williams can also shoot the J from any spot on the floor. On July 3rd at Battle for the Bell, Team Final EYBL (then No. 1 ranked 15U team in the area) learned that fact when Williams drained 4 threes (18 points overall) on them during Pride’s upset win. Williams also posted 14 points vs. K-Low Elite that day. During sessions I & II of the Big Shots-Myrtle Beach (SC) event Williams was again dynamic vs. national competition. At the Spooky Nook Jam Fest Philly Pride National “played up” in the 16U bracket and Williams posted 13 ppg. on 50% shooting from three. The scary part is that Williams is just scratching the surface of his potential.
