They return several players and have some young talented players moving up from the Junior Varsity program that should play a role.
Sophomore Guard Paul McNeil Paul McNeil 6'6" | SG Richmond County | 2024 State #172 Nation NC Jr is a name that you have heard about constantly over the past year. He’s a special talent that has blown up recruitment wise with D1 programs all over the country showing interest. Currently he’s one of the top prospects in his class in the state and will look to work his way into national rankings. His team will need him to step in and bring leadership which is something that is rare to be seen from a Sophomore.
Sophomore Guard Jamarion Wall Jamarion Wall 5'11" | PG Richmond County Senior | 2024 State NC will be one of the players that will need to provide consistent production this season. We saw some flashes of what he can potentially be during the ECI Team Camp, scoring the ball at a high level from the perimeter.
Junior Guard Dakota Chavis Dakota Chavis 6'0" | SG Richmond Senior | 2023 State NC is one of the better facilitators on this team and will provide some upperclassmen experience to a very young team. He has the potential to be one of the better guards in the conference and a major contributor for their team.
Sophomore Guard Javian Drake Javian Drake 5'10" | PG Richmond Senior | 2024 State NC is a player that we didn’t get to see much of last season but he’s played well throughout the summer during Team Camps. He plays the game with an edge to him, doesn’t back down from challenges and will be a nice spark plug for the Raiders squad.
Senior Guard Deshon Watson will be one of the only Seniors on the roster and his leadership will be very valuable for the success of the team. His three point shooting is a valuable asset as well as the energy he brings on both ends of the court.
