Cross Chadwick Cross Chadwick 6'7" | PF Tri-Cities Christian Academy | 2024 State TN will be a wonderful high school star at Providence Academy. In fact, a player of his caliber should dominate there for the next three seasons.
At the combine specifically, Chadwick defended the low blocks, even thwarting low post feeds to another breakout star Grant Campbell Grant Campbell 6'8" | SF Heritage | 2023 State TN a couple times in the All-Star Game. He put the ball on the deck a little bit, and though he made occasionally-hurried decisions the potential for creating his own shot-off the-dribble crept out.
Cross Chadwick Cross Chadwick 6'7" | PF Tri-Cities Christian Academy | 2024 State TN needs to keep working on his mobility. Truthfully, Chadwick displayed a stunning lightness on his feet and yet the basketball ceiling he can reach suggests even more improvement is possible.
In the next year or two, Cross needs to start attacking the rebounds like they are his first meal in three days. The agility and size are physical gifts and yet he can utilize them even more productively. Cross will be able to dunk in traffic and rebound above the rim routinely by the time he graduates, but grit and desperation for greatness are not common. This is something Cross Chadwick Cross Chadwick 6'7" | PF Tri-Cities Christian Academy | 2024 State TN must summon from inside himself. The potential is so exciting and Cross provided a fantastic first impression.

The Summer Combine generally merges many different styles into one gymnasium. Still, the event typically brings a glut of guards with few frontcourt exceptions. This event provided the greatest percentage of forwards of any combine to date.
Drew Brillihart truthfully helped broaden the talents in this forward pack. Brillhart is a 6-foot-3 combo forward entering his sophomore season. Assured in the lane, Drew knocked down shots in the mid-range. His base was strong and the shooting form resembled the low post dominators of yore.
The wingspan at +3 reveals how Drew is such an accomplished rebounder among taller players. Flat-footed, Brillhart reached 8-foot-2 and consistently competed on the glass for errant clangers. Brillhart’s straight-line speed was below average for the camp though average for forwards in the room. Strong and both mentally and physically tough, Brillhart appears to be growing into his body. Improving quickness will help bring him and his team versatility at the forward position.
Throughout his high school career Drew will inevitably develop more wing skills and enhance his perimeter handles. He can defend the arc somewhat, but the future of a face-up four at 6-foot-3 is brief. With his strength and size, DB looks like a small college small forward with plus rebounding skills and hunger.
