NBA Stylistic Comparison: 2019 Pacers Jeremy Lamb
Noah Shaw’s wonderful 3.25 time in the straight-line sprint distinguished him from the other quick guards. Including Shaw, only five people recorded sub-3.30 times. Shaw’s burst off the line hinted at transition speed
Shaw recorded a very, very fast Lane Agility time too (11.80). For a 6-foot-3 guard, Noah Shaw certainly moved fantastically fast.
Quick leaper. Defends with purpose.
Needs more upper body strength. Shaw was best as a catch-and-shoot guy. When his feet were set ahead of time, his percentage stayed strong. Now, Shaw needs to get a little wiggle to his game. Fortunately, he is already quick and the speed and change of direction will enable him to be a little more slippery. Taking chances in traffic will help him develop this skill.
Alex Hyder Alex Hyder 6'3" | SG Cleveland | 2023 State TN | 6’3.5” SG | Cleveland
Remarkable physical display. Sunday Alex Hyder Alex Hyder 6'3" | SG Cleveland | 2023 State TN competed after spending his entire Saturday running through the BCAT Top 100 competition. Those legs still registered impressive vertical strength and nice sprint speed.

NBA Stylistic Comparison: 2015 Spurs Danny Green
College Projection: Division 1 LM-MM
The most improved physical skills from Alex Hyder Alex Hyder 6'3" | SG Cleveland | 2023 State TN are absolutely dribbling and moving with the basketball. Now AH provides a strong slasher to the guard-driven team. His shooting touch was always a strength and yet now the scorer is able to create his own shot so much more fluidly.
Hyder’s drill performance set him apart from the pack. At the ideal combo guard size, Hyder closed out with low center of gravity and high hands. His ability to knock down pressured jumpers really impressed. This skill translates immediately to the college level.
Hyder is a player that deserved the past recognition and looks like a surefire college talent. His floor is elite D2, though Hyder will almost certainly wind up signing to a Division 1 program with his ability to score all over the floor, get off the floor with explosion, and defend the 1-3.
