Jackson Reynolds 6’0 Top 1: One of the most impressive shooting displays of the weekend came from this young guard who made eight 3-pointers while scoring 32 points in a Platinum Division game against Dayton Elite. He used the high ball screen well to hit shots, he ran the court for transition 3s and he also came off screens ready to shoot.
Aidyn Boone 6’5″ Full Package: A solidly built Stretch 4 who could knock down 3-pointers in bunches. In a game against the Illinois T-Wolves, he rescued his team from a very slow start by knocking down three consecutive triples off the catch. He ended up making five in the game. He is a very valuable weapon in the pick and pop.
Jake Koning 6’0 B3 Athletics: In a game against Emerge Elite, the lefty erupted for a 20-point second half, which included six 3-pointers and the game winner in the closing seconds. He even had his own cheering section from a team that was playing in the next game. It was quite a scene.
Zachary Kroetsch 6’1″ Michigan Cagers: The young shooter was impressive on opening night in a victory over the Illinois Bears with 20 points, including five 3-pointers. He made several timely triples as whenever the Bears would seem to be gaining the momentum, he would respond from long distance.
Darrius Roach 6’0″ Indiana Game-1: A quick combo guard who could impact games with his speed at both ends of the floor, but in one particular game, he caught fire from long distance as he scored 34 points and hit seven 3-pointers in a victory over The Process.
Javion Bostic 6’0″ Cincy Fire Elite: An athletic bucket-getter who can score at all three levels, but in a game against Man Up, he busted loose for 32 points, which included six 3-pointers. He can penetrate and score off the dribble, but when defenders gave him a step, he was able to pull up and knock down perimeter shots to make them pay.
Ryan Cohen 6’2″ Man Up: The talented shooting guard made six 3-pointers en route to scoring a game-high 38 points in a victory over Cincy Fire in a great individual scoring dual with the aforementioned Bostic. He has a smooth stroke from 3-point range to go along with his ball handling and scoring ability.
Isaiah Camper 6’1″ Hoopville Warriors: In a game I watched against the Cincinnati Royals, Isaiah had a very pedestrian first half with only two points. The second half was a different story as he scored 18 points, all coming on his six 3-pointers. He was hitting them from everywhere with some off the catch and some off the dribble.
