Austin Ambrose Austin Ambrose 6'9" | C Ba | 2022 State IL (HIT)
Ambrose went from unknown big man from Batavia to D2 UW-Parkside commit with a strong PHC for HIT. Back to the basket five that rebounds and has good physical tools.
Martez Rhodes Martez Rhodes 6'3" | SG Danville | 2022 State IL (Champaign Heat)
Danville wing that burst on the scene early in the spring due to his strong build and high motor.
Quinton Hunter Quinton Hunter 6'1" | PG Lockport Township | 2023 IL (Illinois T-Wolves)
This lefty point guard has a sweet looking pull up game. Displayed that from both mid-range and three with the T-Wolves 16U.
Devon Richardson (South Cook Jaguars)
Richardson broke out as a big bodied traditional post that anchored inside and rebounded well in his area.
Da’marion Morris Da’marion Morris 5'10" | PG Hyde Park | 2023 IL (BC Elite)
Morris shot the lights out for BC Elite while the 2023 point guard was playing up on the 17U level.
Jack Seibert Jack Seibert 6'5" | SG Mascoutah | 2022 State IL (Illinois Bears)
Mascoutah power forward emerged as a high level small college prospect with his strength and activity level.
Luke Defrance Luke Defrance 6'1" | SG Metamora | 2022 IL (Illinois Hoopstars Rowell)
Defrance put his name on the map with strong play in the spring for the Hoopstars. Shot it well and has some creativity.
Jonah Hinton Jonah Hinton 6'1" | PG Naperville Central | 2022 State IL (M14)
Hinton came on very strong at the end of the circuit impressing college coaches with his ability to impact the game on both ends at either backcourt spot.
Tyler Smith Tyler Smith 6'0" | SG Kenwood | 2023 State IL (Young & Reckless)
Smith is a slender guard that emerged with a strong showing for Y&R. Transition athlete that defends and showed potential off the bounce.
Corbin Rutledge Corbin Rutledge 6'5" | SF Farmington | 2022 State IL ( Archangels )
Combo forward that is an excellent fit at the small college level. Can space the floor with his shooting and brings athleticism to the table off the bounce.
Camron Kincaid Camron Kincaid 6'1" | PG Springfield Lanphier | 2022 State IL (All-In Phenom)
Kincaid is a speedy guard who had a breakout weekend in Indianapolis at Havoc in the Heartland.
Joseph Fitch Joseph Fitch 6'8" | PF Christian Homeschool Assn. | 2022 IL (Illini Magic)
This home school power forward had the biggest jump of anyone going from unknown to top 50 in the state. Bouncy power forward that can impact the game defensively swatting shots. Rim runs and can play on the perimeter some as well.
MJ Langit MJ Langit 6'0" | PG Bolingbrook | 2022 State IL (Next Generation)
Scoring combo guard put on a show at Havoc in the Heartland with several massive scoring performances.
Sebastian Blachut Sebastian Blachut 6'2" | SG Lake Park | 2022 State IL (Chicago Lockdown)
The athleticism really popped here for this shooting guard. He wowed by consistently putting the ball on the deck and getting to the hoop.
Trent Tousana Trent Tousana 5'10" | PG Batavia | 2022 State IL (M14)
Tousana had his moments especially in the spring for M14 where he provided scoring punch while getting others involved.
David Douglas (Sport-Prep Nothing But Athletes Inc)
This Yorkville Christian combo guard was a major breakout player. He is a silky smooth ball handler that has passing feel and slithers his way through the defense.
Jaden Smith Jaden Smith 6'10" | C Kenwood | 2024 State IL (Mac Irvin Fire)
Smith had a little buzz coming out of the high school season, but we got our first really good look at him in the spring. A lot of physical tools to work with along with being able to run the floor, block shots, and has touch.
Max Johnson Max Johnson 5'10" | PG Oak Park River Forest | 2024 State IL (Mac Irvin Fire)
OPRF point guard in 2024 that looks like their next prime time prospect. Good decision maker with feel for the game and shifty handles to match.
Kenneth Hayes (Kessel Heat)
Hayes had a monster July. The Zion Benton wing is a two-way player that defends at a high level and improved as a multi-level scorer.
Jason Jakstys (Basketball Paradise)
Jakstys saved his best for last as he emerged at the Grit Region Finals. The 6’8” post went head to head with a potential five star and held his own on both ends.
